New Year Mount Kilimanjaro climb via the Lemosho Route, 8 days

Climbing to the summit of a mountain as iconic as Kilimanjaro (5,895m) is an experience you will never forget. It is the kind of journey that many people dream of, but far fewer actually do. Considered to be the most scenic of the various routes people can take to the summit of Kilimanjaro, the Lemosho Route will take your breath away. Furthermore, as one of the newer routes, it provides great viewpoints from different sides of the peaks, the crowds aren’t too big and the success rate to the summit is quite high.

Our journey will begin at the Londorossi Gate. From there, we will spend 2 days trekking through the vibrant forest to the Shira Ridge. After that, we make our way through the Shira Plateau until we reach the Lava Tower. After that, we will make our way to the summit from Barafu. We will then descend along the Mweka Route. En

The days will be long during the trip. However, you will get to enjoy comfortable rest at various huts and camp areas.

Due to the physically nature of this climb to the summit of Kilimanjaro, it is important that participants are in good physical condition.
