It’s a honor for me to invite you to Niseko, an amazing ski area in the heart of Hokkaido. I’ll guide you through the best backcountry lines utilising the chair lift system of Niseko and nearby ski resorts.
As a local guide based in Niseko I can offer you several ski options. All these routes are accessible from any starting point. I can assure it will be an unforgettable experience, connecting the main ski resorts simply with our skis.
Our meeting point will be in Niseko Annupuri Ski Resort at 8:15 AM. From here, a great backcountry ski tour awaits us. We will pass by the Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort and many other ones. In each new landscape we will find the best powder runs to enjoy unlimitedly.
This unique backcountry skiing in Niseko will take us around 3:30 hours in total. However, it will always depend on the weather and snow conditions.
Regarding the necessary equipment I suggest to bring with you the following gear:
- A proper backpack,
- Ski poles,
If you don’t have it, take into account you will be able to rent all the backcountry equipment in our shop.
At the bottom of this description you will find the scheduled itinerary of this great off-piste skiing trip. The itinerary is just a sample and can vary according to the dynamics of the day.

In case I am unavailable to guide, my colleagues with Niseko Winter Guide qualification and a member of Japanese Red Cross Society Emergency Personnel in my guide company will be able to guide you.
