Description

Located in the Dolomites, Arabba is amongst the most renown resorts in the area. And it is a paradise for off-piste snowboarding! Join me for 1 or more days and let’s venture off-piste in Arabba and why not also the Marmolada glacier.

The village of Arabba is small and quiet. It is located in the Sella Ronda circuit. In the area we can find slopes for different levels, including some of the most challenging in the region, if you are up for it. Nearby, the Marmolada glacier offers some great descents as well. In particular, there is a steep descent starting at the top of the glacier and down to its base.

I would say the highlights of this program are:
– A prime location for off-piste snowboarding, even if you are a beginner
– Convenient lift system if we want to use them to access the off-piste terrain
– Impressive views of the stunning Marmolada glacier

I know the area very well, having climbed most of the mountains in the region. So rest assured, I will find the best itinerary adapted to the snow and weather conditions, as well as to the level of the group.

So if you are looking to spend one or more days exploring the off-piste around Arabba on your snowboard, please send me a request! Another trip I really enjoy in the Dolomites is this off-piste snowboarding program in the Sella Group, check it out!

Mountain Guide

I started my career as an aerospace engineer, my first passion and then became a full-time IFMGA mountain guide, my second passion, since 2013. Working as a mountain guide gratifies me a lot. I enjoy very much transmitting my knowledge about the mountains and its activities to my friends and clients.

I’m based in the Dolomites where I have climbed most of the mountain surroundings us here, including “Via attraverso il Pesce” in Marmolada and “Captain sky-hook” in Civetta. I also enjoy a lot guiding in the rest of the Alps, ice climbing, ski touring, freeride skiing, rock climbing and mountaineering.

Feel free to contact me if you want to live a great adventure in the Dolomites or anywhere else in the Alps, during the winter or the summer. It will be a great pleasure for me to guide you and allow you to reach your goal. I work with other mountain guides in the Veneto area, such as Filippo, Massimo, and my brother Daniele. If I am unavailable on the date you are interested in coming climbing, skiing, or engaging in other activities with me, I can connect you with one of them.

3 stars Marmolada is due to weatherconditions. Lack of new snow. Enrico found good snow in parts of the glacier. 5 stars to him. Before we went up to the glacier, Enrico took us for a testride offpiste to see if we would be able to ski difficult conditions. Very good.

To be honest we are very disappointed. We signed up for the day of free ride on Marmolada but Enrico wisely said the snow conditions were not conducive for doing that. He offered to do other activities (specifically ski touring) but that is not what we paid for or signed up for, and did not want to do that. Since he offered “alternative activities” it appears we lose 100% of the cost per Explore-Share policy. This is extremely unfair. Enrico seemed like a good guy and probably a very good guide, but I would NOT recommend Explore Share to anyone! Terrible experience for an expensive day.

Geremia was great to have for my first time ice climbing. He went over all the basics and gave me tips on my climbing that really helped out. All of this in a beautiful location! Highly recommended!

Enrico was an incredible guide. He was meticulous and patient throughout our Via Ferrata, accommodating our group who had varied fitness levels. Amazing experience and would highly recommend anyone to participate!
