One week guided splitboarding tour from Dachstein-Tauern

Any beginner-level splitboarders out there looking to go to the Austrian Alps this winter? If you said yes, join me on this week-long adventure!

The Eastern Alps are famous for how well its slopes can accommodate snow sports, such as splitboarding. And as a local guide, I know some of the best spots to splitboard**.**

On the first day of this trip, we begin with a welcome meeting and debriefing session, so that we can enjoy the next 5 days on the mountainside. We will then begin our splitboarding tour in Dachstein, a mountain region made famous for its glacier. From there, we will work our way to Tauern, which literally means “high mountain” in German.

This trip is open to beginners, and difficulty will vary based on your comfort. The average descent of each slope will be about 800 to 1000 meters, which is a decline that can be enjoyed by all.

Your safety is my first priority, and I will be sure to have all necessary equipment to keep you safe. More still, before the tour begins I will also lead a short instructional course on how to use the safety equipment and what to do in the event of an avalanche. I feel that this is necessary to do in order to have an enjoyable experience in the mountains.
