Description

Ice climbing is a fantastic winter activity. And the ice climbing in the Piemonte valley in the Alps of Italy is incredible. During the winter season, the scenery of the Piemonte valley is stunning as well, so on top of the joy of ice climbing, you will also have plenty to gaze at and admire during this day long excursion.

There is an assortment of different areas in the area to choose from. Those areas include Valsesia, the Val Germanasca, the Val Varaita and the Valley of the Orco.

Any of those places offers a unique and fun ice climbing experience. However, what they all share in common is that the ice climbing in each area is not too difficult. instead, they are all perfect for beginners. Furthermore, each area will provide you with a great platform to learn the basics of safe ice climbing.

In the beginning of the day, we will provide a brief introduction to ice climbing techniques. And then, for the rest of the day, we will put those techniques into practice. We will safely climb, using a rope from above, and shoot with different angles and methods. We will do that in order for you to see and understand the basic principles of ice climbing.

Ice climbing is a wonderful, exciting activity. However, it is important to learn how to do it properly and safely. That is why I feel this course is beneficial because it will teach you, while also motivating you to continue learning, as there are few things more thrilling than ice climbing. It also doesn’t hurt when you get to do it in a place as beautiful as the Piemonte valley.

So if you want to join me, just send me a request, and let me guide you.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
