1+ day Ice climbing in the Aosta Valley, near Cogne

My wife and I and 15 year old daughter had a fun day in Gressoney/ Indren with Nicolas. Sadly the conditions were not very good for off piste on this day but nonetheless our guide Nicolas was very helpful and knowledgeable Explore share communication and organisation was excellent throughout. I would recommend this company

First time for us backcountry with guide. Nicolas really made the best of it despite difficult spring conditions with only little snow left on the slopes. He even found some powder for us. He is really nice company too. Booking was smooth too with fast responses from both admin and our guide Nicolas.

Nicolas was a skilled and knowledgeable guide. We were disappointed that there were not told beforehand that we had to pay for the transport up and down the mountain. We were given the impression these coats were included in the trip. Be prepared to pay 150 Euros more than the quoted price for the tram and train tickets.

Nicolas was very friendly, punctual, and very professional. We had a great day skiing off piste and felt in safe hands. Would highly recommend Nicolas as a an amazing guide. Thank you for what was a great day! All 7 of us loved it.

Dear, we had a wonderful day and a nice trip. We expect to have some more tips of the guide about freeride skeeing, but it all worked out. The only downside is that I fell the last downhill and injured myself. I made it down on my own, but we had expected a little more help from the guide. Both doctors in Italy and in Belgium warned me that this was too great a risk and could have caused more serious injuries. Perhaps the guide should be a little more informed about what to do in these circumstances.
