Would you like to enjoy a unique adventure to discover the landscapes and people of Nepal? Then join us on this 6-day Pokhara Valley trek open to all.

The Pokhara Valley in Nepal is located in the Gandaki region and is a stunning place to discover the local culture and landscapes. Lakes, caves, waterfalls and more, are part of the Pokhara Valley charm, and on this adventure, you will have the chance to enjoy it.

We will set off from Kathmandu, and for 6 days carry out different activities that will allow us to experience all that the region has to offer. We will not only enjoy great trekking, but also go canoeing, birdwatching and more. Furthermore, we will be able to catch sight of the stunning Himalayan mountains. And, because this is an easygoing trek, everyone is welcome to join!

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport, welcome by our representatives, and transfer to your hotel

Day 2: Kathmandu

Breakfast in the hotel, tour to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, Patan Durbar Square, drive to Nagarkot in the evening and overnight stay in the hotel in Kathmandu

Day 3: Pokhara

Drive to Pokhara City by private vehicle or fly to Pokhara, and tour to Fewa Lake and lakeside in the evening

Day 4: Sarangkot

Drive to Sarangkot in the morning to view the sunrise and then tour to Pokhara in the afternoon including the International Mountain Museum, Devis Fall, Cave, and more temples

Day 5: Pokhara to Kathmandu

Fly back to Kathmandu, overnight stay in Kathmandu and dinner with Nepali culture dance

Day 6: Departure

Enjoy the free time and shopping till you depart.

Thanks to my guide Tanka and porter Chhabi for an awesome trip to the Himalayas! All throughout the trip they ensured that I had everything that I needed and checked in on my comfort level all throughout. The guide took time every day to explain plans for the next day, to take pictures and to point out landmarks. The views of Annapurna I and Machhapuchhare are gorgeous from the Mardi Himal base camp (more so than Mardi Himal itself). Note that you enjoy flexibility during the trip. The camps that you stay at each night are only suggestions - we adjusted from the described plan to time the weather so we could get the best views, and to get off the trail early on Day 5. Much of the trail is improved with steps or stone walkways and it is a popular trail where you will meet other hiking groups. I brought everything suggested by Welcome Nepal Treks for the trip and was well equipped. Communication with Welcome Nepal Treks was entirely through Whatsapp, and I was able to rendezvous with the guide on Day 1 with no problem. I would book a trip with Welcome Nepal Treks again!
