Description

The Pyrenees are definitely one of the world’s most famous, and most beautiful mountain ranges. They are filled with enough highlights to last a lifetime. And on this amazing 26 day ski touring adventure along the Pyrenean high route, you will get to see a great deal of them. And that’s because we will be making our way across the entire range!

The trip will take place in 2 sections. Each section will cover a lot of ground. And believe me when I tell you, every inch of that ground is gorgeous. The views from the peaks are tremendous. And the snow you’ll get to enjoy is plentiful and perfect for great skiing.

This spectacular tour will begin in Canigou to Benasque, which is a great stretch. Afterwards, we will venture from Benasque to the Orhy Peak (2,017m) in France. There is an assortment of amazing peaks, ridges and valleys to see throughout both sections of the trip.

There is definitely something amazing about taking a trek, let alone a ski tour, that crosses a mountain range from one country to another. But on this trip along the Pyrenean high route, that’s exactly what we will be doing. However, as a result of the audacious and adventurous nature of this journey, it is important that participants have previous ski touring experience. It is also important that participants are in excellent physical condition as well because the pace will be constant.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
