Ride in Nozawa Onsen with FWQ snowboarder Go Biyajima (Half-day)

I’m currently the second highest ranked snowboarder in Japan and am competing in the Freeride World Tour qualifiers.

The Freeride World Tour is a series of events in which the best skiers and riders from around the world compete both for individual wins and the World Champion title.

Nestled into the center of the Japanese Alps, Nozawa Onsen is renowned for its plentiful and high-quality powder. In fact, this traditional village is often considered to be the birthplace of skiing in Japan.

With many gondolas and chairlifts, this is an ideal spot for snowboarding, allowing us to spend more time on the slopes and less time waiting in line.

When our half-day of riding has come to an end, be sure to check out everything else this traditional town has to offer. There are also numerous resorts nearby, including  Madarao, Tangram and Togari Onsen.

Please remember that you need to be at least an intermediate snowboarder to participate in this tour. Take into account that you will need to be able to assess for yourself what you can or cannot do. It will be your responsibility to snowboard at your own level.
