Are you ready for the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure? Join us on this day hike in Santuario El Cañi, a beautiful nature reserve in the Chilean countryside.

The El Cañi Sanctuary is one of the first private protected areas in Chile. It is located 21 kilometers from Pucón and contains approximately 500 hectares. During this day hike, we will explore the vast property and see all the beauty it has to offer!

The sanctuary was founded in 1990. It was a well-kept secret for many years but in recent years it is finally being recognized as an essential destination for travelers. It is a perfect place for everyone from families or solo travelers to couples. It is a paradise for lovers of outdoor activities and wonderful landscapes.

The El Cañi lookout trail crosses enormous native forests of majestic araucarias and coihue, two species of trees native to southern Chile. There are numerous small lagoons on the property such as Laguna Negra and Las Totoras.

The sanctuary features a lookout point which stands 1,550 meters high. Here, you can observe a breathtaking panoramic view of the surroundings, including Villarrica Volcano, Lanín Volcano and Quetrupillán Volcano. This is one of the most spectacular views in the area!
