Description

Boasting many incredible and diverse landscapes, there are few better ways to see Tanzania than by going on a Serengeti safari and visiting Zanzibar!

Spending 8-days exploring these incredible landscapes is the best way to experience the country. Along the way, you will visit the eighth wonder of the natural world, see some of Africa's most iconic wildlife and relax on some of the world's best beaches.

The adventure begins with a visit to Lake Manyara National Park, where we will get the chance to see giraffes, elephants, impalas, buffaloes, blue monkeys and baboons with the incredible backdrop of the lake.

From here, we head to Serengeti National Park, where we will explore the expansive grassland (serengeti means 'endless plains' in the native language) and get the chance to see even more wildlife.

The world's most famous national park is home to the great migration of wildebeests as well as zebras, antelopes, lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas.

From here, we will continue on to the eight wonder of the natural world: Ngorongoro Crater. Sprawling over 264 square kilometers (102 sq miles) and boasting walls that are 600 meters high (2,000 feet), the crater is truly immense.

Inside there are plains, lakes and forests that are home to just about every animal native to East Africa, including the rare black rhino and the world's largest elephants.

After exploring the crater thoroughly, we will depart the mainland and head to Zanzibar. Here, we will have two days to relax, with the option to take some short tours of the island (not included) or enjoy the immaculate white sand beaches and turquoise blue waters of the Indian Ocean.

So what are you waiting for? Book now for this fun, scenic and eclectic 8-day serengeti safari and visit to Zanzibar!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
