With pristine glacial lakes, high altitude passes, hot springs, and towering peaks, the beauty of Peru’s Cordillera Huayhuash is comparable to the Himalayas and the Rocky Mountains.
This short version of the classic Huayhuash route takes us to some of its most important spots, such as the lakes of Jahuacocha, Solteracocha, and Rasac. We will also enjoy impressive views of the peaks of Yerupajá, Hirishanka, and Rasac, among others. You can check the complete itinerary below!
Please keep in mind that although this hiking program is not hard, you need to be physically fit to hike for several hours per day. Of course, we will be there to help and guide you every step of the way.
So, if you want to experience the peaceful and picturesque Peruvian Andes, please contact me. I’ll really enjoy being your guide on this 4-day hiking tour in the Cordillera Huayhuash!
And if you have enough time to spend in this majestic area, don’t forget to take a look at my Huayhuash 11-day trip.

I like mountains and I love nature, I practice cycling and hiking, I know very well the hiking trails of Cordillera Blanca and Huayhuash.
The passion for nature was my inspiration to study Official Tourist Guide. I am experienced in travel organisation and logistics, especially adventure travel.
At present I’m a logistics manager at a travel agency with German clients, and I also have my own agency where I take care of the organisation of the adventure trips (trekking, mountaineering, mountain bike and day hikes).
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
