Description

Are you looking for an awesome winter experience in the Alps? Then join me for a ski mountaineering day in the Aosta Valley!

Aosta Valley is a mountainous region in northwestern Italy, on the border of France and Switzerland. Surrounded by impressive mountains such as Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, Gran Paradiso and the Matterhorn, this alpine valley is a perfect destination for extreme skiing adventures.

This ski mountaineering day starts at the Antagnod lifts (Pian Pera, 1734m). After gaining some altitude, we will climb towards hidden spots with top-quality virgin snow. We will enjoy stunning descents and cross beautiful areas such as the Colle Pillonet (2702m), Cime Bianche Pass (2894m), and the villages of Chamois (1815m), Cheneil (2115m) and Valtournenche (1565m). Furthermore, we will enjoy breathtaking views of Monte Rosa and Matterhorn!

Keep in mind that this trip is only suitable for expert skiers who can ski in all snow conditions and on steep slopes. A good fitness level is also necessary!

So, if you are up for a challenging winter adventure in the Aosta Valley, please contact me. Come to Antagnod for an unforgettable ski mountaineering day trip!

And if you are looking for a multi-day tour, check out my 5-day Hut-to-hut ski mountaineering on Monte Rosa.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
