If you already are an experienced skier but you want to improve your skills and learn something new, then this is the tour for you! I invite you to join me in this 1-day program in Lesachtal, Austria.

This tour is aimed at slightly advanced or advanced skiers. Along this day I will give you the best tips and tricks for ski touring. Also, we will cover tracking system and risk assesment.

We will meet on Sunday at a designated meeting point in the Lesachtal area. Then, after checking our safety equipment, we will start our ski tour.

I will give you individual tips for improvement. Also, you will have the opportunity to practice tecniques and to analyze and assess specific situations. Most important, we will go over risk minimization in detail.

In order to join this tour in Lesachtal, you should be familiar with the safety equipment (LVS) and companion rescue. If this is not the case, you can attend the LVS Security Day program that I deliver on Saturdays. In that course team rescue is practiced within a short ski tour.

I’m a IFMGA certified mountain guide and a nature lover. I was born in 1983 and I studied Cultural and social anthropology at the Vienna University.

Mountains, water, cultures have been always my passion. That’s why I’m a mountain, ski, canyoning and rafting guide, also a ski instructor and a snowboard enthusiast.

Helene and myself are the owners of the Hepi lodge. A space for mountaineers, climbers, skiing enthusiasts where besides offering the accommodation service we proposed varied programmes of different activities: rock climbing, ski touring, canyoning, hiking tours.

I guide most of my time in Lesachtal Valley: St Lorenzen, St Jakob, Birnbaum, Karnische Alps and Lienz Dolomites.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
