During this wonderful half-day snowshoeing trip, you will get to explore and enjoy the wonderful area around the Aspen Mountain.
Throughout this trip, which begins in the morning and ends in the early afternoon, you will get to snowshoe through varied and stunning terrain. You will get to venture into and through spruce and fir forests. You will also get to make your way to the Richmond Ridge, where you can enjoy sensational views of the Rockies and surrounding landscape. And throughout the trip, you will get to learn about the area from a knowledgeable and certified mountain guide. The guide will tell you all about the area’s wildlife, the mountain ecology, avalanches and the history of Aspen.
This trip is approximately 1.5 miles round trip. It is not technical, and the trails are very easy to navigate. As a result, this adventure is open to people as young as seven years of age. Thus making it perfect for families who want to explore the gorgeous Aspen mountain area.
