Located in the Spanish Pyrenees, Combs de Rubio is a beautiful mountain hut that offers unrivalled views of the area. And on this snowshoeing weekend, we’ll stay at this incredible refuge, exploring all the fantastic things around it.
We’ll begin heading towards the neck of the Culla. Thereon, we’ll take the slope at the north side to reach an enchanting forest. Then, we’ll snowshoe to the Planell Rossell, a place that offers the absolutely most breathtaking views of the Rubio Valley. And, to end our day, we’ll head back to our refuge, for a well deserved rest and an exquisite dinner. On our fist day we’ll cover a distance of over 7 kilometers.
Then, on our second day, we’ll reach the summit of Pic de l’Orri. This magnificent mountain stands at 2,439 meters. So from the top, we’ll be able to enjoy hypnotizing views and get incredible pictures of the whole region. Upon completion, we’ll descend to Col of Culles, heading to the tracks of Sant Joan de l’Erm. And by the end of the day, we would have covered a distance of 9 kilometers.
Due to the distances we’ll snowshoe across, participants must have a good fitness level. However, if you wish to participate, you don’t need any previous experience, as I will teach you how to properly use the snowshoes. I will also accompany you throughout this journey, making sure you are safe, and having a great time.
If you wish to participate, don’t let this opportunity escape. Send me a request, and let me be your guide on this marvellous place in Spain.

I have been a mountain guide since 2004. I started out as a mountain leader and now I am a mountain guide.
I love the mountain in general, but what I prefer is climbing. I have traveled to many countries around the world to climb: Morocco, Jordan, United States and Greece.
With customers, I really like mountain skiing, climbing peaks and skiing in good snow!
I hope to share the mountain with you, convey my passion and have fun with your company!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
