Description
The Sonnblick peak (3106 m) is a glaciated mountain that watches over the stunning Stubach Valley, in Austria. Its fantastic slopes are a magnet to winter-sports lovers and specially, to splitboarders.
If you are a beginner in the activity, this program is designed for you. It starts at the Rudolfs hut (Rudolfshütte) from where we drive up to the Weissee reservoir, an idyllic place covered by spotless frozen water. Then, we ascend to the peak at 3088 m going over snowy hills and admiring the magnificent background, such as the Grossglockner (the tallest mountain in Austria). It is a unique experience!

I had an adventurous day with Mathias climbing amazing limestone in Austria! We did a fun multi-pitch route in a sunny and warm day! Not only an experienced climber, Mathias is also a really friendly guy and made the whole experience safe and fun at the same time! On top of the climb, I got a bonus as he brought two E-mountain bikes that we used to get closer to the base of the mountain, which made the experience even cooler! I am already planning my next adventures with him and I would definitely recommend him as a guide!
