Description

St. Anton am Arlberg is a legendary place for any skiing enthusiast. Located in the state of Tyrol in Austria, it is said this is the place where Alpine skiing was created. And not only was it created there, but the people responsible for creating it decided to share that creation with the world.

For a place with such a rich skiing history, one could be left wondering if the skiing could ever live up to such a lofty reputation. Well be rest assured that it absolutely does. St. Anton am Arlberg presents some of the finest slopes in the entire Alps. No wonder it is often home to some of the most important, and popular, skiing competitions in the world.

On this day trip, which also includes a lunch break, I will guide you to some of the best off-piste slopes in the area. And with the aid of several different chairlifts, along with some scenic skinning, there will be no problem getting to them.

Due to the challenging nature of the slopes in the area, this trip is designated for advanced level off-piste skiers. Hence making this trip ideal for long time skiers who are looking for another way to test their skills. And believe me when I tell you, the powder and terrain in St. Anton am Arlberg is just waiting to be tested!

So come and ski on the same slopes that birthed an activity enjoyed by people around the world. It would be my pleasure to guide you through St. Anton am Arlberg. All you have to do is send me a request.

Mountain Guide

Born in Montafon (Vorarlberg, Austria), I discovered the joy of climbing at 14. I later trained as a ski instructor and state-certified mountain and ski guide, which allowed me to combine my love of nature with my professional life.

During the winter, I mainly work in Arlberg and Montafon as a freeride and ski touring guide. In the summer, I take my clients up some of the most beautiful peaks in the Alps.

Climbing is very important in my home area. From Feldkirch, my home town, I am just minutes away from some impressive rocks. For the last 15 years I have spent almost every free minute on them, achieving more than 80 climbs in the 8a to 8c+ degrees of difficulty. Rock climbing has also taken me all over the world from Norway to Turkey and from Thailand to France.

Join me for a memorable experience in Vorarlberg.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
