Description

Go on a half-day or full-day hike on the Wasatch Mountains, in Utah. Discover some of the beautiful routes in this area, like the Big or Little Cottonwood Park and Ride Lot, Alta or Brighton. No previous experience needed!

This program consists of a non-technical mountain hike. We can customize the hikes to your goals and experience. I will help you add adventure to your hike!

This tour is available as either a half-day (3 to 4), or a full-day tour (6 to 8 hours). Also, on this program I will take groups of up to 6 hikers. Have a look at further details below.

These summer hiking tours are available from June to October.

You will need to bring good walking or hiking shoes, and lunch (if you come on the full day tour), water and snacks.

The prices above are for the half-day tour (3 to 4 hours). For the full-day tour (6 to 8 hours), the prices per person are: for groups of 1 ($395), for groups of 2 ($275), for groups of 3 ($225), for groups of 4 ($200), for groups of 5 ($175), and for groups of 6 ($150). All prices are per person. Pack and training poles are included, if needed. Prices do not include tax (6.85%).

Programs include backcountry skiing, split-snowboarding, rock climbing, ice climbing, avalanche instruction, summer and winter mountaineering, trekking (hiking and snowshoeing) and canyoneering skills.

Led by Julie Faure and Tyson Bradley, UMA (formerly Exum Utah Mountain Adventures) operates under a permit issued by the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
