Description

Join us for a half-day trek in Argentina's Nahuel Huapi National Park! In just 2 hours we'll cover around 3 kilometers of this iconic trail in Bariloche.

Head out on your journey from the Bahía López trailhead (Km 32 of the "Circuito Chico"), right next to Alun Nehuen Hotel. From the very first steps, the trail invites you into a lush forest - the gentle incline makes for a leisurely hike.

In just about 40 minutes, you’ll reach a natural promontory, from where you'll be able to see the serene Brazo Tristeza of Lake Nahuel Huapi, the rugged peaks of Cerro Capilla, as well as the north face of Cerro Tronador.

At the viewpoint, take care near the cliff edge, but don’t miss the chance to ascend further if you’re hungry for even more spectacular panoramas. The journey back along the same path offers a second helping of the serene forest and mesmerizing scenery.

Yanic was an incredible guide - very kind, very adventurous, and he made sure that we got to see special places that are remote and not crowded. He’s also very helpful at accommodating food allergies and we ate very well on our trip!
