Come enjoy an adrenaline-filled day with this canyoning tour at La Reunion's star canyon with IFMGA-certified mountain guide Olivier.

Piton des Neiges

1 Day

All year

Description

The Trou Blanc canyon is La Reunion Island's star canyon. This canyoning experience will be nothing like the ones you've had in the past!

Come spend an unforgettable day at the Trou Blanc. In this true natural "aqualand", slides and jumps are everywhere!

Because it is rather long and more aquatic than most, you need to be in a very good physical condition. It is not for beginners!

Located in the Cirque de Salazie, close to the Piton des Neiges (La Reunion's most famous mountain), a short 30-minute walk takes us to the river where the canyon is born. The first part of the descent takes place within a particularly incised gorge. After that, the canyon opens up but the scenery remains magnificent.

The abundance of slides and jumps make this canyoning experience a unique one! And with names like these — "Raclette", "Tim", "Washing Machine", "Vavavoum" — you'll remember the Trou Blanc slides for years to come!

However, not all jumps and slides can be enjoyed year-round. Even the final abseil depends on the water level. Contact me in advance!

Another fun activity you could try during your visit to La Reunion, is the incredible Piton Maido ascent. So make sure you check it out!

Come enjoy a truly memorable day. This canyoning experience is the best way to discover the wonderful scenery La Reunion has to offer. Contact me and I'll be able to answer all of you questions!

Mountain Guide

I've worked for more than 20 years as mountain rescuer in PGHM in the Alps, Pyrenees and Réunion. Now I devote my time to make you discover in all safety the hidden and wild beauty of the Réunion island. I want to share with you my passion for mountain sports.
I hold the following professional certifications that allow me to supervise mountain sports: UIAGM/IFMGA high mountain guide, canyoning instructor (DEJEPS canyoning) and climbing instructor (DEJEPS climbing and DEJEPS climbing in natural environments).
The Réunion island is known mainly for its magnificent coasts and beaches and the volcano "Piton de la Fournaise". But it's also filled with magnificent natural sites, wild and preserved, that I will help you to discover.
