Come with me on this one day adventure and discover the stunning via ferratas in Savoie, a beautiful region in the French Alps!

On this one-day via ferrata you’ll be able to choose between two different routes. Both of them are equally fun and exciting. Of course, you will need to be physically fit. However, each option is suitable for a different level, so you can join this adventure even if you have little experience. I will make sure to find a route that best fits you!

The easiest of the two options is the Col du Chat via ferrata. It is located above the beautiful Lake Bourget in the charming city of Chambery. This route is ideal for beginners and will take between 2 or 3 hours to complete. Furthermore, thanks to its great location, you will enjoy amazing views of Lake Bourget and the French Alps. The second and more challenging route is the Roc du vent via ferrata. It is located in Beaufort and suitable for intermediate climbers. It will take us between 4 or 5 hours and you’ll experience a real alpine atmosphere while admiring the spectacular views of the Alps.

In addition to its spectacular views and beautiful scenery, Savoie is also famous for its excellent gastronomic products. During this via ferrata trip, I invite you to taste some of its famous culinary specialities.

I put on the first bolts in the Montmin canyon, I also equipped the Montmin via ferrata together with two guide friends. During the winter I work in Meribel and in the 3 Vallées area. Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
