I have been a high mountain guide since 1990. I am the precursor of canyoning at Annecy. I put on the first bolts in the Montmin canyon, I also equipped the Montmin via ferrata together with two guide friends. During the winter I work in Meribel and in the 3 Vallées area. I invite you to join me for a few hours in the **Cascade d’Angon at Annecy,** one of the most beautiful canyons of **Haute Savoie**. It supplies water to **Annecy** Lake with its fabulous waterfalls where you will descend abseiling.

The canyoning descent is a sport of water in varied courses. You walk down into the brook riverbed: walking, abseiling, jumps in the bassins, swimming, slide down the slides.

I will supervise and bring you the technical assistance along the schedule. You will see that this is an amusing sport, it takes place in a particular aquatic environment, full of water’s noise and spray.

I propose a **discovery** format of 1:30hs and a **sporty** format of 2:30hs. This one begins with an abseil activity of 35 meters in the cascade, and includes several jumps and slides.

I will take up to 10 people with me for the first format, 7 for the second. If you are more, another guide will join us.

We can combine this descent with a via ferrata of 3 hours at **Montmin**.

Depending on your level, I’ll propose an off-piste circuit from your station in **Les 3 Vallées**. With or without an approach walk, the off-piste skiing allows to discover pristine and wild places.

Whiteness, silence, space … many off-piste routes are waiting for you from your winter sports resorts. With or without approach march, the selected circuits in Savoie and Haute-Savoie and in l’Arc Alpin will be beyond your expectations!

The **multi-pitch** ascents you can experience in Annecy are not just fun, but also challenging. But the views you will get as you are conquering them, make them completely worth it.

Moreover, **I’ll be sharing all my experience and expertise with you**. And, **I want to make sure you are safe the whole time**. So, I will be there with you every step, **following all the measures needed** for you to have a fun and safe adventure.

If you are **looking for challenges**, I can take you to some of my favorite spots, where you can **test your skills**. However, if you want to **practice and gain more confidence**, we can tackle **some routes that are quieter**.

Additionally, **the itinerary of this trip is open**. This means I will take into careful consideration all **your goals** and **everthing you want to accomplish**. I’ll also consider your **previous experience**. So all the routes we’ll tackle will be carefully chosen.

There are different routes to choose from, but some of them are:

*   **The Zig Zag – Mont Baron:** An quieter and varied route, perfect for those who are attempting a multi-pitch route for the first time. It has **8 pitches**. And a **level of 5c-5b** is required.
    
*   **Dalle Rousse – Roc Des Boeufs:** It is located in a nice slab in a more remote and wild area of Annecy. It requires a **5c-5b level**. And it has **6 pitches**.
    
*   **Harmonie – Grandes Suites:** With **8 pitches**, it has some of the best and most beautiful ascents in the area. The route requires a **6a+ level**.

Located in the French Alps, Annecy is famous for being one of the most beautiful cities in the country. Our adventure will take place only 30 minutes away from it, in Angon. It is the ideal outdoor and natural climbing spot for those who want to try rock climbing for the first time.

On this 1-day program, children aged 5 and up, teenagers and adults will learn basic rock climbing and safety skills. My goal is to provide you with a fun and exciting experience in this spectacular region of the Alps. Rock climbing for beginners in Annecy

If you want to enjoy a great **via ferrata adventure,** come to **Haute-Savoie** in France and join any of the **three routes** available. You’ll be able to learn the basics of this great activity and admire great views from the heights!

Via ferratas use different materials such as **cables, scales, bars or ziplines** to help you climb in the mountains in a safe way. 

In this opportunity, I offer three different routes in the **Aravis massif,** in Haute Savoie. This way, you will be able to choose which is the ideal route for you **depending on your preferences and abilities**.

##### **Thones Via Ferrata – La Roche a L’Agathe** 

This is one of the hardest routes in the Alps. The hike up to **La Roche a L’Agathe** is short, but there’s a long descent. The whole itinerary takes between **3 to 4 hours**. This route  is 20 minutes from **Annecy** and has exposed sections. It is perfect for adrenaline fans and very fit people.  

##### La Clusaz via ferrata – **Yves Pollet-Villard**

This is an intermediate-level route that offers a beautiful mountain scenery on the **Borderan cliff**. It takes takes between **3 to 4 hours** to accomplish the 700 meter route. This via ferrata is equipped with footbridges, cables and ladders.

##### **Grand Bornand via Ferrata – La Tour du Jallouvre**

This is the longest (**4 to 5 hours**) and highest route of the Aravis. This **intermediate-level itinerary** takes place in **Le Grand Bornand** and offers fascinating views of the Aravis rage.

In **Montmin**, at 15 km from Annecy, in an exceptional environment facing the **Tournette**, overlooking the **Annecy Lake**, la **Randonnée du Vertige** is a route of via ferrata equipped on the mountain, that includes a rope bridge, an abseil descent, a tyrollean traverse and some climbing.

This is an opportunity to try out an original activity through successive "workshops" on the same route. This private itinerary, created by myself and two guide friends, is unique in the region.

The via ferrata of Montmin lasts for approximately 3 hours. It does not require special physical fitness, it is accessible for not too sporty people, you only need to be not too sensitive to vertigo.

I will guide you and assist technically you all the way. I will take up to 10 people with me. If you were a larger group, another guide will join us.

**Come with me on this one day adventure and discover the stunning via ferratas in Savoie, a beautiful region in the French Alps!**

On this one-day via ferrata you’ll be able to choose between two different routes. Both of them are equally fun and exciting.  Of course, you will need to be physically fit. However, each option is suitable for a different level, so you can join this adventure even if you have little experience. I will make sure to find a route that best fits you!

**The easiest of the two options is the Col du Chat via ferrata.** It is located above the beautiful Lake Bourget in the charming city of Chambery. This route is ideal for beginners and will take between 2 or 3 hours to complete. Furthermore, thanks to its great location, you will enjoy amazing views of Lake Bourget and the French Alps. T**he second and more challenging route is the Roc du vent via ferrata.** It is located in Beaufort and suitable for intermediate climbers. It will take us between 4 or 5 hours and you’ll experience a real alpine atmosphere while admiring the spectacular views of the Alps.

In addition to its spectacular views and beautiful scenery, Savoie is also famous for its excellent gastronomic products. During this via ferrata trip, I  invite you to taste some of its famous culinary specialities.
