Considered one of the most famous and most beautiful areas in all of Canada, Lake Louise attracts people from around the world. From the ski resort, to the hiking trails, to the lake itself, it is a region that impresses anybody who loves nature. It is also an area full of astounding peaks, several of which you can climb. One of those peaks is Mount Victoria (3,464m), which you can climb on this full day trip.
Our journey to the north summit of Mount Victoria will begin very early, at approximately 3:00 to 4:00 am. After we’ve left our lodging at Lake Louise, with the sun still slumbering, we will make our way past the famed Plain of Six Glaciers Tea House. After that, we will continue on until we reach the Victoria glacier. The traverse of the glacier will be challenging, but we will see to it you are properly guided every step of the way. Following the glacier, we will continue up snowy slopes until we reach the peak’s glorious summit. At the north summit, you can enjoy unmatched views hopefully just as the sun is rising. After you’ve taken in as much of the views as possible, we will then descend back down.
Climbing to the top of Mount Victoria is an arduous expedition. As a result, participants should have prior climbing experience and be in good physical condition.
Arguably one of the most photographed mountains in the world, Mount Victoria is a tremendous peak. And it would be our pleasure to guide you to the top of this peak in a single day. If that sounds like an adventure you want to be a part of, just send us a request.
We can also guide you to the top of Mount Sir Donald in British Columbia on this 3 day trip.
