Isle Royale National Park absolutely abounds with incredible hiking opportunities, so lace up your boots and get ready!

The most popular hiking option is to head across the entire island, along the 64-kilometer Greenstone Ridge Trail. The hike takes four to five days and brings walkers to the top of Mount Desor (425 meters), the highest peak on the island, which offers views out over Lake Superior, Canada and Minnesota.

Overall, the national park boasts 266 kilometers of hiking trails and various destinations, including up to Lookout Louise, another popular destination.
