The Vrata Valley runs along the north of the Julian Alps between the village of Moistrana in the far northwest of Slovenia to the foothills of the north wall of Mount Triglav, the highest peak in the whole country and a strong symbol of the Slovenia. Vrata Valley translated as Door Valley, and is the closest stepping stone towards sublime wilderness.
