Bled is a picturesque mountain town in the northwest of Slovenia, and only 55 kilometers from Ljubljana, the country’s capital city. With an abundance of outdoor activities, the valley that is sandwiched between Bled and Bohinj is known for having some of the best climbing spots in Slovenia. In fact, you can find interesting places to climb just a 5-minute drive out of town, while the surroundings of the Triglav National Park can be reached within an hour.
Bled receives a continental climate with warm and dry summers, and cold winters. Spring lasts from late March to May, and Autumn from September to November.
