I've been an IFMGA mountain guide since 2006 and have always loved all outdoor activities. I have always climbed and practiced sea sports.

I grew up in Trieste, the city that gave birth to great mountaineers such as Emilio Comici and Enzo Cozzolino, as well as being the city that hosts the Barcolana, the most popular and numerous sailing regatta in the world.

The activities that I propose convey my passions, in addition to the love of nature, respecting the environment, whether in the mountains or in the middle of the sea.

Upon your arrival, whether it be at Venice, Ljubljana, or Trieste Airport, you will be transferred to Ocean Marine harbor, located near S. Giovanni di Duino. This area is renowned for the Timavo River, which holds great significance. Originating in Slovenia's S. Canziano Cave, the Timavo River flows underground through caves for approximately 50 kilometers before resurfacing in S. Giovanni. It presents a relaxing day for you, and you'll have the opportunity to explore the nearby Carso cliffs, perfect for a thrilling climb.

Arrival to Venice

We will sail through the channels encircling the harbor. Our destination awaits as the Roberta III yacht anchors at the bay beneath the ancient Castle of Duino, inviting us to indulge in a refreshing swim.

From there, we'll set sail towards Sistiana harbor, a scenic hour-long journey, where we'll have the opportunity to engage in sport climbing on the cliffs.

As night falls, we will find respite in the cozy harbor, where we'll spend the night, ready to continue our voyage the next day.

Our next adventure awaits as we embark on a stroll along the Rilke Path, leading us to the enchanting Duino Castle.

After exploring its wonders, we will retrace our steps back to Sistiana. Continuing our daily sailing voyage, we will navigate towards the bay of Canovella di Zoppola, where we will anchor the boat.

From there, we will embark on a delightful journey along Mediterranean paths, discovering beautiful climbing spots nestled by the seaside. In the afternoon, we will set sail once again, making our way back to the Ocean Marine.

Sailing and Climbing Tour in Trieste, Italy

Selvaggio Blu is a renowned and intense trek in the gorgeous wilderness of Sardinia. On this 1-week adventure, we will explore this amazing route and sleep on the water in a spectacular sailboat.

The Selvaggio Blu trek links Santa Maria Navarrese to Cala Sisine on the Sardinian East Coast by foot, through different and quite challenging paths in which an expert guide is important to fully enjoy the experience. Rope will be used in some more exposed parts, to belay, and to descend cliffs. On a traditional Selvaggio Blu trek, you would sleep in farms along the way or in a bivouac, but we offer a great alternative, the cabins of our sailboat, which are ready to welcome you!

Using a rubber tender, we will easily reach the beaches of the starting day trek. Every day, the tender will wait for us at the end of the trek and bring us back on the boat. In case you would like to skip one of the treks, you will be able to stay on the boat and just sail to the next bay while waiting for the group to return. In case of bad weather, we will find the best solution to continue the trek on land, while still having the boat as a base camp.

The sailboat we will stay on is 15 meters long and 4,5 meters wide. It has 5 cabins with 3 bathrooms and has berths for ten people. On it, we will enjoy delicious meals, replenishing showers, and relaxing moments.

Arrival at S. Maria Navarrese, we will have the time to have a briefing to start the trek in the best way possible. We will eat dinner together and sleep on the boat.

The boat will bring us to the starting point of the trekking. We will walk for about 6 hours in the direction of Portu Cuau, our destination for the first day where the boat will wait for us.

Cala Goloritzé is where we will head on day three. We will walk through some sheep pens before trekking down to the bay, where the light blue water will leave you speechless and where we’ll spend the night on board the sailboat.

This day you will test yourselves with some climbing, our guides will take you through this difficult part, but you will finally thank them when you will see Cala Mariolu! We’ll sleep in this breath-taking bay to rest after the long day.

We are heading to Cala Biriola, to reach some more climbing and walking in the woods surrounding the bay. We’ll rest on these crystal clear waters before our last day of satisfying efforts.

Ready for our last destination? Day six we’ll trek to the wonderful Cala Sisine, where we’ll admire the beauty of the bay. We will sail back to Santa Maria Navarrese

Last day on the boat and flying back home.  
In case of bad weather, the program might have some changes. We will find the best solution to continue the trek on land, still having the boat as a base camp and sleeping in the safe harbor.
