I started guiding in 2012 while living in Yangshuo and quickly developed a passion for sharing climbing, cycling, and exploration with people from around the world. Infatuated with Chinese culture and the many amazing places to climb, I coauthored a guidebook for travel and climbing in the country: Climb China in 2014. Following the release, I spent three seasons working as a cycle guide in Taiwan, returning to China during the off season to explore unclimbed cliffs in Yunnan, Sichuan, and Xinjiang. I currently base in LiMing, Yunnan and work with several other AMGA instructors to teach traditional rock climbing in China's sandstone paradise, plus lead multi-activity trips around the country.
