Mountain Leader
Tbilisi, Gudauri
VDBS
UIAGM / IVBV certified Mountain Guide since 2011.
I hold a diploma of an Engineer Hydrologist from the Tbilisi State University's Department of Geography and Geology. After graduating in 1996, I changed my career to become a mountain guide. My work experience in the field is large: in addition to working together with Daniel and Gia, I'm the director of the Alpine Club at the Ilia State University and academic director of the Georgian Mountain Guide Program.
Since 2004, I have been working as a mountain guide at the DAV Summit Club, Munich, Germany - presenting the teaching courses provided by the school (rock and ice climbing, summer and winter alpinism, trekking, rescue and avalanche safety courses), leading trekking and expeditions outside Europe (Himalayas and the Caucasus).
My previous experience includes working as a mountain guide and an instructor for private companies in Germany and Georgia, the Georgian Republican Rescue Center Santeli as well as holding administrative positions at the Mountain Guide Association of Georgia.
I'm a member of the Mountain Guide Association of Georgia and of the International/German Mountain Guide Association (VDBS/UIAGM).
Please come and discover Georgia. I will be glad to guide in my home country!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
