Es un ascenso de dos días de duración, con la posibilidad de hacer sus dos cumbres principales.  
Es un excelente cerro para quienes se inician en la actividad o quieren descubrir la censacion de llegar muy alto en poco tiempo en un hemoso lugar en la patagonia.  
Su ubicación estratégica, nos brinda la posibilidad de contemplar las principales montañas de la Provincia del Chubut, tales como el majestuoso Cerro Dos Picos de 2.515 msnm, Anexo de 2.498, el Tres Picos de 2.492 msnm , Volcan Michimahuida de 2.450 y Cerro Piramides de 2.609 msnm. entre otros, muchos de ellos aun sin escalar.  
También es posible contemplar la magnitud la zona Norte del P.N “Los Alerces” uno de los mas conservados parques de patagonia.

El mejor lugar para alojarse en Cholila y respirar el ambiente de la cultura de la montaña y la historia local es el Hostel Piuke Mapu, un divertido Eco- Hostel en donde podes compartir tus intereses de trekking con otras personas, o utilizar el lugar como campo base y así explorar con mas tiempo todo el área.
