The Matterhorn valley in the Alps is one of the most famous and beautiful destinations in the entire world!

Join us and spend four incredibly scenic days exploring the valley on foot. Over the course of the trip, we will enjoy various incredible views, climb up a 3.000 meter high mountain and pass the famous Stellisee, the iconic lake beneath the Matterhorn. 

The fun begins after we’ve picked you up from the airport and driven to Randa. From here, we will hike on the Europa trail to  the famous Europahut, which sits at 2.000 meters above sea level and has lovely views of the surroundings. 

The following day, we will hike along the Europaweg to the Täschalp, crossing the 500-meter long Charles Kuonen suspension bridge – the longest in the world – in the morning, before hiking into the Täsch valley. Here, we will spend the night in another cosy mountain hut, enjoying views out over 3.000-meter high mountains and glaciers.

The third day, we will head out on a more serious adventure, departing  Täschalp and hiking toward Pfulwe peak (3.313 meters). We will begin by hiking up to Pfulwepass, with the option to continue on to the summit or not.

From both the pass and the summit, we will have great views out over the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa, among many other mountains. After taking in the view, we will hike down to the Stellisee, before ending our day in Zermatt.

On the fourth and final day of our trip, we will enjoy a nice hike along Edelweiss traverse, taking in some more great views before returning to Zermatt and transferring to the airport.

**Join me in any of these amazing hiking trip to Chamonix and Mt Blanc valley in the French Alps! You will have the chance of submerging into the insides of breathtaking landscapes while practising a fantastic sport such as trekking.**

**Chamonix offers the perfect setting for trekking trips!** The region has more than 300 km of walking trails. While the whole Mt Blanc Valley has got 600 km!

This is translated into i**nfinite choices for easy, moderate and challenging trekking tours.**

Take a cable car to get higher up and reach the surrounding peaks. Or, you can just enjoy the relaxed and gentle walks through the valley.

You can choose the hiking option that you prefer. **There are day tours, half-day tours, hut-to-hut tours and even hiking weeks.**

By choosing the **full-day tour** you will be able to enjoy a whole beautiful day in the mountains. We will walk for 5 to 8 hours.

A classic trek on a full-day tour can be _Albert 1er Hut, Lac Blanc Hut, Aiguilette des Houches or Aiguille du Midi Traverse to Montenvers._

If you choose the **half-day tour**, we will depart early in the morning or the afternoon. In this case, the hiking hours will be from 2 to 4.

The walks for this day could be _Chalets du Loriaz_, _Montenvers_, _Aiguillette des Possettes_ and _Vallée du Bérard_.

The **hut-to-hut hiking tour** offers you the chance of trekking during the day and finally reach a hut to enjoy the sunset. You will spend the night at a high-altitude refuge and a delighting homemade dinner will be waiting for you.

Choose this option if your desire is to enjoy the silence and calm of the mountains and to avoid crowded places.

The hut-to-hut tours can be more challenging –long distance, multi-day- or simply a 2-day trip.

Finally, the **_Chamonix based hiking weeks_** is a full-week hiking tour in the insides of the valley. Since it is a longer trip, you will have the chance of trekking through more routes. In his case, the trip includes airport transfers, accommodation, meals and the daily hikes.

Chamonix and Mt Blanc valley hiking tour

Every mountaineer dreams of completing the **Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt**. Join me for 10 incredible days in the **French and Swiss Alps**.

This ten day excursion is an amazing opportunity to discover one of the world's most iconic mountain environments. Along the way, we'll be surrounded by  beautiful views of **alpine peaks, lakes, mountain villages and we may even see marmots and ibex**. You can check the itinerary below for more information on the places we'll be visiting. Nonetheless, we are flexible and can change the route to adapt to the group's abilities, interest and fitness level. Also, if you want a shorter excursion, then I offer the possibility of doing only half the trip and returning from **Arolla** after day 5.

Whether you decide to come for the full 10-day excursion or for 5 days, you will need to consider that this will be an exhilarating challenge. In order to complete the Haute Route in 10 days, we'll be walking 15 kilometers a day and ascending 1,500 vertical meters. Therefore, you will need to make sure you are physically fit for the challenge. Certainly, I will be there to help and guide you.

First, we’ll meet at the Chamonix center and take a train to Montroc Le Planet. Then, we’ll ascend Col de Balme and reach the summit of Aiguilette des Possettes.

This will be a challenging day. The path from Trient to Fenêtre d’Arpette includes an untouched mountain pass, which will allow us to reach Arpette Valley.

Night at Champex-Lac.

We’ll hike to Orsières to take a bus to Fionnay.

Finally, after an exhilarating day, we will spend the night at Cabane de Louvie, a mountain hut next to the Lake of Louvie.

In order to reach Cabane de Prafleuri, where we’ll spend the night, we’ll go through Col de Louvie and Col the Prafleuri.

On our way to our hotel in Arolla, we’ll go through Lac des Dix and Col de Riedmatten (between the Val d’Hermence and the Val d’Arolla). We’ll get to enjoy stunning views of Mont Blanc de Cheillon and the Pigne d’Arolla.

End of trip for those doing only half of the journey.

Cabane the Prafleuri - Arolla

This is the most challenging day on the trip. First, we’ll take a bus to La Sage and walk to Col de Torrent (3,000m). Then, we’ll descend to Val de Moiry through Lac the Moury. And the last part is Corne de Sorebois (views of Val d’Anniviers and Val de Zinal).

Finally, we will go from Gondola to Zinal, where we’ll spend the night.

Arolla - Zinal

This will be an easier day. We’ll got to Anniviers passing several villages. We’ll pass Col de la Forcletta and access Turtmanntal.

Night at Gruben.

Zinal - Gruben

We’ll climb the Augstbordpass and spend the night at a hotel at the Swiss village of t. Niklaus.

Gruben - St. Niklaus

We’ll get beautiful views of Matterhorn Valley and the Matterhorn.

Finally, on the last day of our trip we will end our trip in  Zermatt.

**If you want to live a unique overnight stay in the mountains, please let me invite you to this hut to hut tour in the Swiss Alps. We'll just put our snowshoes on and venture into the most outstanding places in the area.**

It will be a really wild adventure in the loneliness of the **Swiss Alps**. The hiking tour includes amazing landscapes as well as alpine environments. Don't forget to include warm clothes and something to eat in your backpack!

Once we are high up in the hut you will enjoy a really comfortable stay. Moreover, we will heat the place thanks to the wood stove and enjoy a hot soup. After that, **you will taste a delicious homemade meal**. It will be a unique moment in which we will spend a nice night, playing games and sharing stories. In addition, you will have the opportunity of **making your own photoshoot at sunset**. The mountains around and such a starry sky form a beautiful panorama to treasure in your album.

The following morning **I will prepare the best breakfast of all the Swiss Alps.** Afterwards, we'll go down back to the valley or continue the adventure to another hut. In that way, you can choose the number of days you want to spend hiking in the Alps. Take into account that getting to the hut will take us about 3 hours on foot.

These snowshoeing proposals are **suitable for all levels of hikers**. In fact, it is a perfect opportunity to live a wild experience with your family or kids. Moreover, a mountain hut is a magic place to spend a different birthday with your friends or even celebrate a bachelor party!

During these hiking tours, we can go to any mountain hut of the Swiss Alps. However, I always recommend the following ones:

**Pointe Percée – Gramusset Hut**

A really authentic refuge **below Pointe Percée**. It is a remote mountain hut that can be reached by beginners as well as experienced hikers.

**Véran CAF Sallanches**

It is a perfect hut for the winter with a capacity of 27 people. Besides that, it is luxurious and very comfortable. It is also really easy to approach to this hut. Its surroundings offer many activities to do during the afternoon.

**Täsch Refuge Zermatt**

It is located in a remote valley in the Alps. The hut lays on a rocky groove overlooking the entire valley. From **Täsch** we can snowshoe to this hut through a high and alpine terrain.

**Leglerhütte Glarnerland**

It is a mountain hut covered by snow in a remote area of the _**Glarus**_ **Alps**. Inside the **Mettmen Natural Reserve**, we can live a unique experience snowshoeing in an amazing terrain. Far from the crowds, this 2-day alpine adventure is perfect for advanced hikers. **The Kärpf** is a stunning peak close to this hut which offers unique sights of **the valley of Glarnerland**. In fact, from there you can even admire the 4000-meter mountains of the west.

I pick you up at our meeting point or at your accommodation. We take a short transfer with our minibus to the starting point of our adventure. After a short instruction we start our snowshoe hike up to the mountain hut where we will spend the night. Along the way, I will explain you a lot about the nature and the surrounding mountains. Half-way up we are going to have a short break with some warm tea and a quick bite out of the lunch-pack. Then, we continue the hike up to the hut. After around two hours of hiking we will reach the hut and install ourselves there. There are many things to do once we arrive! You can try to chop some firewood, you can start a fire in the wood burner, you can get some snow which we need to melt to get some water, you can help to cook, you can make the place cozy with candles and lights or you can simply relax and enjoy the great views and the nice atmosphere!

After a busy afternoon I will give you a great 3 course hut dinner. We can either cook a traditional and local dish or make a real cheese-fondue. We will spend the rest of the evening with gorgeous hut games before we go to bed.

GETTING TO THE HUT

After a cozy night in the hut, we start the day early and enjoy a healthy breakfast with fresh coffee and tea before we head off to another great day in the mountains. Depending on your wishes we can hike back down to the valley or do a great snowshoe hike high up in the mountains before we head back down. Once we reached the minivan I will bring you back to your accommodation or the meeting point.

##### The challenging Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) hike is one of the most beautiful long-distance walks in the world. And I would like to invite you to join me on this fantastic 10-day hiking tour.

Throughout this tour, which will cover nearly **170 total kilometers**, we will  circle the **Mont Blanc massif**. We will pass through charming **Italian, French** and **Swiss villages**. We will also hike close to other **amazing peaks**, **immense glaciers,** and **beautiful mountain lakes**. Hence making this hike an immersive journey into the encompassing beauty of the famed massif.

To join this unforgettable hike you should be in **good physical condition** because we will be walking from **15 to 20 kilometers per day.** There will also be ascents of up to **1000 meters a day** as well.

You’ll get picked up in the morning at your accommodation in Chamonix and driven to Les Houches (Bellevue  
cable car station) from where you will start your 10-day TMB adventure. Even before hiking, you’ll take the  
cable car up to Bellevue the official start point of the TMB, and a great viewpoint with the first amazing views over the Chamonix valley. From Bellevue, an interesting hike through alpine meadows and a nice forest brings you very close to the Bionassay glacier with the first highlight of the TMB the famous suspension bridge. After crossing the suspension bridge a nice trail brings you up to the Col du Tricot. Up there you’ll take a short break and get ready for the short but steep descent to the Chalets du Miage. At the Chalets du Miage there is  
definitely some time to take a rest and to enjoy our homemade lunch packs. For those who want there is the opportunity to taste one of the best blueberry cakes on the entire trip. With fresh energy, you’ll be ready for the last climb of the first stage up to the Col du Truc. From there, an easy and nice trail is leading down to the small French mountain village Les Contamines.

• Hiking Route: Bellevue – Suspension Bridge – Col du Tricot – Chalets du Miage – Col de Truc – Les

Our hike starts in Les Contamines village. We walk to the Notre Dame de la Gorge church and climb up to the Col du Bonhomme.  After enjoying our lunch and some drinks in the Refuge Col de la Croix du Bonhomme we will descend to the village of Les Chapieux.

*   Distance :  17,8 km
    
*   Height gain : 1339 m
    
*   Height loss : 963 m

Les Contamines-Les Chapieux

The third stage of the TMB and it is already time for Italy. After the breakfast, you’ll start your trek directly in the Les Chapieux valley and climb up to the Col de la Seigne the border between France and Italy. From the Col de la Seigne you’ll have the first great views on the Mont Blanc and the ongoing TMB trip. With nice weather, you can even see over to Switzerland. On the way down you’ll pass a mountain museum with a huge 3-D relief map of the entire TMB. Further down you’ll pass by the Rifugio Elisabetta a typical Italian mountain hut with great food and Italian coffee. You’ll end the third stage of the TMB at the Cabane du Combal a nice and modern mountain hut in a great location. In the afternoon there is the possibility to go swimming and to see ibex very close.

• Hiking Route: Refuge des Mottets – Col de la Seigne – Casermetta – Rifugio Elisabetta Soldini – Cabane  
du Combal

Les Chapieux to Cabane du Combal

A nice stage is waiting for you with great views over the whole Mont Blanc range. From the Cabane du Combal an easy climb brings you up to the south terrace of the Mont Blanc. From there you’ll walk down to the Maison Vieille a nice place for lunch. If someone is tired there is the option of taking a cable car down to Courmayeur. In Courmayeur, you’ll stay in a hotel close to the center and you’ll have time to explore the village a bit and to try a real Italian gelato. In the evening your guide will take you to a local restaurant for dinner.

• Hiking Route: Cabane du Combal – Maison Vieille – Dolonne – Courmayeur

The last day in Italy is waiting for you. A nice hike up along the Val Ferret takes you from Courmayeur over the Rifugio Bertone and Rifugio Bonatti, two very famous and nice mountain huts to the end of the Italian Val Ferret, where you will stay overnight in a cozy mountain hut.

• Hiking Route: Courmayeur – Villair – Rif. Bertone – Rif. W. Bonatti – Arpnuova (Chalet Val Ferret)

From Arpnuova you’ll climb up the steep but nice slopes to the Swiss border and the Grand Col Ferret. During your ascent, you’ll have magnificent views over the entire south face of the Mont Blanc range. After the first big climb of the morning, you’ll pass by the Rifugio Elena, a welcoming stop for an extra coffee to get enough energy to climb the second part up to the top. Once you reach the top of the hill, you’ll enter Switzerland over the Grand Col Ferret (which will also be the highest point of the entire tour). From the Grand Col Ferret, there is the possibility to add a small extra loop and to climb the Tête de Ferret peak. In the second part of the day, you’ll be descending into the Swiss Val Ferret towards La Fouly. Half-way down there is the Alpage de la Peule, a really nice farm with great food, cold drinks, and locally made cheese to try.

• Hiking Route: Arpnuova – Rifugio Elena – Grand Col Ferret – La Peule – Ferret – La Fouly

At this stage, you’ll experience many nice alpine meadows, beautiful Swiss  
villages and you’ll pass the probably most photographed object along the TMB. You’ll end your day in Champex-Lac (also called „little Canada“), a picturesque Swiss village with a beautiful lake where you can go swimming.

• Hiking Route: La Fouly – Praz de Fort – Issert – Champex-Lac

From Champex-Lac a very nice and great hike is leading over to the small and picturesque village of Trient. The hike starts easily through the village and along open meadows. You can admire typical Swiss chalets and listen to some interesting stories about local life. The way up to the Bovine is steep and challenging but definitively worth it, especially when you keep the best cake on the entire TMB which you can get at Bovine in  
your mind. After a nice stop at the Bovine mountain hut, you’ll make your way down to the Col de la Forclaz (an important mountain pass and part of the Tour de France 2016). From the Col de la Forclaz you’ll take a nice trail down to Trient where you’ll spend your last night in Switzerland of the TMB.

• Hiking Route: Champex-Lac – Champex-d’en-Bas – Plan de l’Au – Bovine – Porte à l’Ô – Col de la  
Forclaz – Trient

Champex-Lac to Trient

Your second last day of the Tour du Mont Blanc brings you over the Col de Balme back to France. You’ll start  
your day early in the morning and climb up to the Col de Balme. From up there you’ll have the most amazing  
views of the Mont Blanc. From the Col de Balme, you’ll take the trail back down to Le Tour. If the group is fit  
there is the possibility to include the Col des Possettes and the Aiguillette des Possettes peak. Once you reach  
Le Tour you’ll walk along some nice meadows to Argentière.

Hiking Route: Trient – Col de Balme – Charamillion – Le Tour – Argentière

The last day of the TMB is full of highlights again. If you are up for it you can climb up to the famous Lac Blanc  
over some nice and adventurous ladders or take the normal way up there. Best panoramic views and the  
ultimate photography spots won’t be missed. If you feel tired there is the option of taking the cable car from  
Flégère back down to Chamonix.

You will be picked up at your accommodation at Chamonix Valley on the first day of the tour.

**Join me on a wonderful adventure for the complete family, or to come alogn with friends! This program will take us on a 5-day hiking tour to the beautiful area of Mont Blanc, across French, Italian and Swiss territory.**

The Tour du Mont Blanc hike – also known as the **TMB –** is a great opportunity to spend time with your friends and family, and even your children, in a natural and magical environment.

During these days, I will teach you all about this area, its mountains, its fauna and flora, and its history. Also, we will stay overnight in refuges, far away from everything. In sum, it’s a truly rewarding and fun plan!

The average hiking time per day is around 7 hours. And the altitude change ranges from 1,000 m to 1,200 m.

One of the highlights of this program is the visit to The Blanc Lake. This lake is well-known for the incredible view of the **Mont-Blanc** it offers, especially through its reflection on the water surface.

You can **choose the program that best suits you**. I offer different options.

To begin this program, one option is to meet at Chamonix. We can then transfer to Courmayeur by bus to start hiking. _Have a look at a detailed_ **_suggested_** _itinerary below (the “Demi-tour du Mont-Blanc – Courmayeur – Chamonix”)_**.** 

At the end of the program, we will cross the **Flégère** and descend back to **Chamonix**.

Another option is to start the hike in Chamonix with direction to the **Houches** and finalize in Courmayeur, where we can take the bus to return to Chamonix.

For those who have limited time in the valley, we can do the Mont-Blanc tour in parts by bus and walking through the most beautiful places.

**Other itinerary options include:**

*   A hiking tour from 5 to 10 days, depending on the time you have available
    
*   Private tour for just 1 person or grop, or joining an already established group
    
*   Assistance with your luggage is also optional

#### Are you a passionate hiker and would you love to explore the beautiful winter landscape?

**Snowshoeing is the perfect way to explore Chamonix** and it’s surroundings on your next winter holiday.

I would like to take you out in the deep fresh snow and show you the best and most scenic spots of this area.

Snowshoeing has been around for a long time. It has become to a very popular sport since the last few years. It is a great way to explore the backcountry of the beautiful **Chamonix Valley**. However snowshoeing is more than just taking a refreshing plunge in some fresh snow. It is easy to learn and for everyone who wants to explore the nature on a great way! Snowshoeing in the winter requires good, warm clothes and suitable hiking boots.

On our snowshoes we will discover the valley in a new way and we will enjoy it’s beauty. I can always adjust our tours to the wishes and ideas of my clients.

##### I proposed the following snowshoeing options around Chamonix Valley:

– **Snowshoe half day – relaxing tour:** This tours usually takes three or four hours. We can start walking from the valley or taking the cable car to get some stunning views.

**– Snowshoe day tour – a whole day out in the nature:** This is an adventurous day out in the mountains. You can challenge yourself climbing up a peak or a traditional mountain hut. Further, you will get the most amazing views of glaciers, lakes and surrounding peaks. This tour takes between six to eight hours.

Besides that we always include a new and exciting special event in our weekly program. **What about a fondue in a cozy igloo or a full moon hike?**
