If you love ice climbing and want to explore a beautiful area in the middle of the mountains, then this tour in Mendoza is ideal for you!

This program will take place in **Cerro Agua Salada**, in the Argentinean province of **Mendoza**. The mountain is located near **Puente del Inca**, in the middle of the **Andes**.  Cerro Agua Salada is famous for its incredible **ice walls**. The excellent conditions of the ice and the beautiful surrounding landscapes of the Andean range make this mountain the perfect ice climbing spot. 

We’ll start around **7** in the morning and enjoy a full day of ice climbing. Additionally, we’ll also enjoy great views of the trail to **Mount Aconcagua**, the highest summit in the American continent. The trip will end around **8 pm**. Also, consider that you can spend **1 or 2 days** climbing in this area. It’s up to you! If you decide to stay 2 days, you will spend the night in a hotel located in **Las Cuevas** village.

The climbing distance we will cover goes from **20 to 120 meters**. Therefore, it is important to have **prior ice climbing experience.** Also, a **good** **fitness level is essential**. Of course, I will be happy to help and guide you!

**Nevado de Cachi** is a mountain range in **Salta**, a province in the north of Argentina. This is a very important range in this province. Among its 9 summits, the highest one reaches **6,380 meters**, and is the tallest mountain in the **Calchaquí Valleys**.

During this 10-day program, we’ll have the chance to explore this beautiful range that belongs to the Puna region. We’ll also get to admire the colorful and desert-like landscapes of the area.

In Mendoza, central Argentina, there is a place called Cajón de los Arenales. It is known as one of the best rock climbing spots in the area and one of the biggest in South America. There, you will never be bored. Because it has all kind of rock variety to suit all tastes, the area receives around 800 to 1000 climbers annually.

The granite elevations of this vast zone are around **2500 m and have more than 460 routes** from 30 to 750 m, that are perfect for a full day of climbing.

Cerro Pissis is an inactive stratovolcano embellishing the Andes range, sitting between La Rioja and Catamarca provinces in Argentina. With its 6795 m **is the third highest volcano in the Southern and Western hemispheres and one of the highest in the world**.

The wonderful landscapes around are volcanic, with multi-color lava, a few lagoons and a general extreme dryness. The flora is almost none, but **its fauna is pretty diverse**: vicuñas, guanacos, donkeys, flamingos, condors and many other bird species.

I invite you to admire all that from a height of 6795 m, which we can reach in 15 exciting days. We will begin in Mendoza and travel to Catamarca, where our real adventure will start. It will take us 15 days ascending and descending, and 14 nights camping in the most breathtaking desert landscape.

Between Copiapó (Chile) and Fiambalá (Argentina) **lies the highest active volcano in the world, at 6893 m**. It is called ‘Ojos del Salado’ which means ‘Eyes of the Salty One’ and refers to the ample deposits of salt that cover its glaciers.

Ojos del Salado is surrounded by mountains, salt fields, thermal waters and a charming green lagoon. The ascent to its summit it is usually a hike, but the final section **could require scrambling and might need the use of ropes**.

This beautiful and popular spot among mountaineers is the place for my 15-day program. It will start in the city of Mendoza at 7 AM. We will spend the days ascending and admiring the dry surroundings of the volcano. At night, we will camp under a sky full of stars, until we will reach **the impressive summit at almost 6900 m**.

Because of its high altitude and because it requires technical abilities towards the end, you need to be in good physical condition and have prior experience in mountaineering to sign up.
