It's a pleasure for me to invite you to this amazing challenge in the Cordillera Blanca. In just one week we will ascent 3 peaks: the **Urus, Ishinca and Tocllaraju summits!**

We will leave by bus from the city of Huaraz until we reach the town of Taricá from where we will take the detour to the East until we are in Cochapampa. Here we will meet the group of porters and continue along the road to take the trail that will take us to the Ishinca base camp. Walking time: 4 to 5 hours.

Huaraz - Pashpa -  Ishinca Base camp (4,400 m)

We will get up at 4 AM and after breakfast we will start the trek through a well marked trail towards the moraine camp and then, ascend the glacier until reaching the summit of the Nevado Urus. From there we will have an impressive view of the mountains of Huascarán, Copa, Aquilpo, Tocllaraju, Palcaraju, Pucaraju, Ishinca, Ranrapalca, Ocshapalca and Vallunaraju. Return down by the same way. 6 to 8 walking hours approximately.

Base Campe – Urus (5,495 m) – Base Camp

Today we will get up at 3 AM and after breakfast we will depart on the opposite side of the day before. We will cross the pampa crossing the streams of the Toclla lagoon, until we reach the trail. From there, we will continue our ascent and arrive at the foot of the glacier. We will then start the way along the glacier until we reach the summit, from where we will enjoy a panoramic view of the important snow-capped mountains of the Cordillera Blanca. This will take us about 8 to 10 hours of walking.

Base Camp -  Ishinca (5530 m) – Base Camp

Extra Day

After getting ready and having all the technical material checked we will proceed to have lunch. Then, we will start ascending by a well marked trail up to the moraine camp. Hiking time of the day: 3 to 4 hours.

Base Camp - Moraine Camp (5,200 m)

Today will be an important day as we get up at 2 AM and after breakfast we will set off towards the summit of Nevado Tocllaraju. From the top we will have an impressive view of the mountains of the Cordillera Blanca. Return to the Moraine camp. After a break, we will prepare for the descent to the base camp. Hiking time: 8 to 10 hours approx.

Moraine Camp - Tocllaraju (6,032 m) - Base Camp

Return to Cochapampa by the same way we ascended. Here, the bus will take us back to the city of Huaraz.

Ishinca Base Camp - Pashpa - Huaraz

### **Are you ready to ascend to the top of the** Chopicalqui**? It is the third highest peak of the Huascaran massif.**

I would like to invite you to this **5-day expedition** which consists of conquering the summit of the **Chopicalqui** mountain. As you may know, it is located in the Cordillera Blanca, right next to the **Nevado Huascarán**, the highest peak in Peru.

Once we reach the summit at 6,300 meters high, we will be in front of one of the best views of the Andes. Furthermore, the Chopicalqui is the fifth highest mountain in the province of Yungay and the fourth of the **Cordillera Blanca**. What you will see from such a viewpoint is really unforgettable!

Our starting and ending spots will be in the city of **Huaraz**. During this adventure, I will guide only two people. That way I can offer you a **personalized and safe experience**. The best season to come to the Cordillera Blanca is **from June to August**. It is the driest period of the year in Perú.

We will leave north from the city of Huaraz until arriving at the detour of the highway. There, we will pass through the the Huascaran National Park entrance, where the two beautiful lagoons of the Quebrada Llanganuco are located. Then, we will reach the crossing of the Quebrada Ancush and finally, the nevado Chopicalqui base camp. It will take around 4 hours by bus and 1 hour of hiking.

Huaraz – Llanganuco (3,850 m) – Chopicalqui Base Camp (4,200 m)

Today will not be a very long day but it will involve a constant ascent by a zig zag path that will take us to the moraine camp. Here we will sep up the tents and enjoy an impressive view of the southwest face of the Chopicalqui. Walking time: 3 to 4 hours.

Base Camp - Moraine Camp (4,900 m)

We will pass the avalanche area very early, then follow the trail until reaching the Camp 1 at 5,500 meters of height. It will be a very short hike but with a fabulous view of the Neado Huascarán by the south east ridge. We can also admire the Huandoy and Pisco mountains. Walking time: 3 to 4 hours.

Moraine Camp - Camp 1 (5,500 m)

Today is an important day. For that reason, we will leave at midnight to ascend to the top of the Nevado Chopicalqui. This will be a very long and tiring day but with a breathtaking view of the mountains of the Cordillera Blanca. Then we will descend by the same route, arriving at Camp 1 to disarm the tents and continue the descent to the moraine camp. Total hiking time: 10-12 hours.

Camp 1 - Summit (6,300 m) - Camp 1

Today we will descend by the same route passing by the base camp and then we will get to the road where our bus awaits. Return to the city of Huaraz (3-hour drive). Walking time of the day: 3 hours.

### **Welcome to this 9-day program in which I will help you conquer the top of the** Nevado Alpamayo**.**

This trip is one of the most demanded by climbers around the world. All the **Cordillera Blanca** and especially the **Nevado Alpamayo** will make us live a really unforgettable experience.

In addition, with its **5947 meters** above sea level, the Alpamayo is considered the most beautiful mountain in the world. The magazine _Alpinismus_ declared that in 1975.

The ascent to the Alpamayo will take us 9 days and 8 nights, in which we will walk through the most remote places of the Cordillera Blanca. On the way, you will witness the great amount of **snow-covered peaks** that dye the entire landscape white, giving name to the mountain range.

The expedition to the summit starts and ends in **Huaraz.** I can guide only two people, taking into account the difficulty that this ascent implies.

We will leave by bus from the city of Huaraz to Cashapampa (2,900 m), from where we start the trek to the campsite in Llamacorral (3,760 m) It will take about 4 to 5 hours of trekking.

Huaraz - Cashapampa –Llamacorral

Continuing the trail and passing the lagoon of Jatun Cocha, we will arrive at the crossroads. Here we will take the left route to ascend to the base camp of the Alpamayo, in Arhuaycocha (4,400 m). Today we will walk for 3 or 4 hours in total.

Llamacorral - Arhuaycocha (Alpamayo Base Camp)

Day of previous acclimatization going up to the moraine camp and spending the night at 4,900 meters of altitude. That will be a difficult climb through a well-marked trail with slopes of 50º. Total hiking time of the day: 3 – 4 hours.

Moraine Camp

Special day to climb the Alpamayo Col. It is a zig-zag road on the glacier that will take us to Camp 1 from where we can appreciate the South West face of this magnificent mountain. Finally we will set up camp to 5,500 meters of height after a walk of 4 to 5 hours.

Moraine Camp - Camp 1

We will leave Camp 1 very early, between 2 or 3 am, to attack the 70º-to-90º wall until reaching the summit of the Alpamayo. We will return to Camp 1 for the night. Round trip: 9 to 12 hours.

Camp 1 - Summit - Camp 1

The return to base camp will be by the same trail by which we ascended. Overnight at the Arhuaycocha camp.

Camp 1 - Arhuaycocha Base Camp

Rest day

The return will be by the same trail of day 2, until arriving at Llamacorral, where we will set up the last camp. Total walking time: 4 to 5 hours.

Base Camp - Llamacorral

Continuing the return by the same trail until arriving at the town of Cashapampa where the Bus is waiting for us to take us back to the city of Huaraz. Night at the hotel.

### **It's a honor for me to guide you to the highest point of Perú: the summit of** Nevado Huascaran**!**

I would like to invite you to this **7-day ascent** which consists in conquering the 6768-meter-high peak of Huascaran. As you may know, it is a snow-capped massif of the western **Peruvian Andes**, in the region Áncash. Moreover, it is part of the famous Cordillera Blanca and lies within the **Huascaran National Park**.

The Nevado Huascaran has two peaks: the north summit at 6655 meters and the south summit at **6768 meters (our goal)**. This one is the **highest point of the country** and of the whole intertropical zone.

It is such an immense mountain that it is also the **fifth highest peak in the American continent**. And if the measurement were made from the center of the earth, this would be the second highest mountain in the world, after the Chimborazo volcano. In 2013 a team of Australian and German researchers revealed that Huascaran is the surface with the least gravitational force on earth.

It is a really interesting adventure and of course, a challenge you have to be ready to cope with. Therefore, it will be necessary an acclimatization climb to prepare our bodies for the ascent. We will leave in direction to the north of the city of Huaraz, passing through the city of Carhuaz and arriving at the town of Mancos to take the detour towatds the east. We will then arrive at the village of Musho where we will leave the bus. Here we will meet the team of donkeys and donkey drivers to continue our journey to the base camp of the Nevado Huascarán. Walking time: 4 to 5 hours.

Huaraz – Musho (3,300 m) – Huascarán Base Camp (4,200 m)

The ascent will be by a well marked trail that will take us to the Huascarán mountain hut, where the entrance of the Huascaran National Park is. Then, we will continue our ascent until the Camp 1. The route is easy and the landscape is cozy. Hiking time of the day: 3 to 4 hours.

Base Camp - Moraine Camp (4,900 m) – Camp 1 (5,200 m)

Today we will leave at 5 AM to move to the Camp 2. During the way we will go through an ice channel and an avalanche zone arriving at Camp 2 in the afternoon. There, we will prepare our technical material together with a breathtaking sunset view. Walking time: 3 to 4 hours.

Camp 1 – Camp 2 (5,900 m)

Big day! We will get up at midnight to get ready. After breakfast we will start the ascent towards the summit, from where the view is amazing and you will be able to see the real magnitude of the Cordillera Blanca. After a few minutes at the top we will descend to Camp 2. It will take about 8 to 10 hours.

Camp 2 – Summit (6,768 m) – Camp 2

Today we will continue the descent towards the moraine camp where we will set up the camp, next to the hut to appreciate the landscape and the sunset.

Camp 2 - Moraine Camp

We will keep descending through the same way we ascended the second day, until reaching the base camp where our team of donkey drivers waits for the final descent towards Musho. From there we will return to Huaraz by bus.

This **4-day program** is one of the most beautiful trips in the **Cordillera Blanca**. We will climb to the top of the famous **Nevado Pisco**, at more than 5700 meters of height.

This mountain is very visited by those in search of an acclimatization before a more demanding ascent. The Nevado Pisco is part of the **Huandoy Massif**, located in the heart of the Cordillera Blanca.

In addition, this mountain has two peaks. The **East Pisco at 5760 meters** and the **West Pisco at 5752 meters**. The last one is one of the most popular summits in the entire mountain range and it is the one I invite you to climb.

Once we get to the top of the Nevado Pisco we will see the most important mountains of the Cordillera Blanca. And even some peaks that surpass the 6000 meters of altitude.

Although it is also known as the **“Mataraju”**, we call it “Pisco” nowadays because on its first ascent, the climbers celebrated the goal drinking Pisco, the typical Peruvian drink.

As for the itinerary, it starts and ends in the city of **Huaraz**. During this adventure, I will guide three people as maximum. We will leave Huaraz by Bus until we are at the Entrance of the Huascarán National Park. After 3 or 4 hours of travel we will arrive at Cebollapampa. From here we start hiking up on a trail to the left of the river that will take us to the base camp of the Nevado Pisco. 2 to 3 hours of walking.

Huaraz - Llanganuco - Cebollapampa (3950m) - Pisco Base Camp (4670m)

A quiet day to visit the mountain hut and the surroundings of the base camp. Then, we will check the technical material so that, after lunch, we can continue the ascent to the moraine camp. Walking time: 3 to 4 hours.

Pisco Base Camp – Pisco Moraine Camp (4,900 m)

Today will be a very important day. We will get up at 3 AM to get ready, have breakfast and leave in direction to the summit of the Nevado Pisco. On the way we will have breathtaking views of the  Caraz, Artezonraju, Alpamayo and East Pisco mountains. Once at the top, we will also enjoy an incredible panoramic view of the most important snow-capped peaks of the Cordillera Blanca, such as Huascarán, Chopicalqui, Chacraraju and Huandoy. They are the 4 peaks that surpass the 6,000 meters of height. Finally, we will return to the moraine camp to disarm our tents and descend to the base camp. Total walking time: 8 to 10 hours.

Moraine Camp - Pisco Summit - Pisco Base Camp

After breakfast we will pack our things and disarm the camp. The team of porters will help us with our last descent to Cebollapampa where the bus is waiting for us to return to the city of Huaraz (3 to 4 hours of travel)

Then we will walk on the glacier until we reach the summit. We will enjoy the panoramic view for a few minutes and then, return to the base camp. Hiking time of the day: 8 to 10 hours.

Base Camp - Ishinca (5530 m) – Base Camp

Return by the same way until arriving at Cochapampa where the bus will be waiting for the return to the city of Huaraz.
