IntoTheWild BG was founded in September 2016 in the town of Smolyan, Bulgaria by Hristo and Tamilla Tumbev – two lovers of exciting adventures, long journeys and the beauty of nature. The company is a licensed tour operator and is engaged in professional mountain guiding, trekking, mountaineering, ski touring, mountain biking, rafting, kayaking, team building, kids’ camps, and other adventure programs in Bulgaria and around the world. All of the IntoTheWild guides are members of UIMLA and BMGA and are active climbers, skiers, and snowboarders as well as participants of other mountain sports.

IntoTheWild’s mission is to show its clients exciting and wild places in the mountains in Bulgaria and around the world by providing innovative and diverse itineraries to remote and unfamiliar places where they can enjoy breathtaking sights and adventures as well as explore the local cultures, cuisine, and folklore. IntoTheWild BG works year-round with tourists from Bulgaria, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Finland, Spain, Greece, Macedonia, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Singapore, USA, as well as with corporate clients. IntoTheWild’s specialty is tailor-made tours that are suited for groups of different levels of training, nationality, and number of participants.
