Have you ever wanted to explore Ireland, but did not know where to start? Well, join me on this 15-day walking tour on which we will experience everything you thought you wanted to see and more!

After meeting in Dublin, we travel to the south of Ireland and begin our tour. Among the many sites we see, will be the sixth-century **Glendalough Monastic site**, which is nestled in the Wicklow Mountains.

We will spend the first few days in several **idyllic villages**, including visiting the South Pole Inn, which was once owned by the renowned Antarctic explorer, Tom Crean. When we are not taking in the village scenery, we will be going on several **cliff walks**  and hikes.

Among these hikes in one up to the summit of **Mount Brandon**, from which we will have **spectacular views** of the Dingle Peninsula. We will also hike along the cliffs at Sleah Head and Moher and walk through the **Gap of Dunloe**. Along the way we will enjoy various archaeological spectacles, including **might megaliths and Ross Castle**.

As we make our way north along the west coast, we will visit the magical **Galway City**, taking some time to explore the downtown as well as visiting the lovely **karst limestone region of Burren National Park**.

Before entering Northern Ireland, we will visit a few more historic sites, including Killary Harbor, the end point of the infamous “famine” walk; the poet **WB Yeats’s grave**; and **Donegal Castle**. Along the way we will do some hiking in **Ireland’s tallest mountains;** walk along some **gorgeous, remote beaches**; and visit **Glenveagh National Park**.

We will then enter Northern Ireland, visiting Derry and **Dunluce Castle** before reaching the **Giants Causeway**. Here you will be able to explore some of the scenery made famous by “Game of Thrones” and bask in the truly unique landscape of this **UNESCO World Heritage site**.

Finally, we will start the heartbreaking trip back to Dublin. However, before it is time to say our goodbyes, we will stop over in **Belfast**, the capital city of Northern Ireland, for a quick tour.

We will make our way up the Irish west coast, crossing the River Shannon by ferry, and walk along the Cliff of Moher before finishing our day in Lahinch.

In the morning, we will walk through the karst limestone Burren region. Afterwards we head to Galway and explore the city for a bit before making our way to the day’s stopping point, Clifden.

We will have a few options of how to spend the day, but we recommend the four-hour hike up to and tour of  Kylemore Abbey.

We will hike along the “famine” walk, learning a bit about Irish history before finishing at the shores of Killary Harbor.

Museum then walk along a secluded beach at Mullagmore. We then travel north, visiting WB Yeats grave, before traveling through Sligo and visiting Donegal Castle.

Join me on this magical 7-day walking tour through the south of Ireland and experience all the majestic history and landscapes of this storied island for yourself!

We begin our adventure by driving through the Wicklow Mountains, over the Sally Gap. Along the way we will get a great view of **Guinness Lake**, where a member of the famous brewing family lives. Once we arrive at our destination, we will hike around the valley to the sixth-century **Glendalough Monastic site**.

En route to our next destination, we will visit the **South Pole Inn** for a drink, which was founded by the famous Antarctic explorer, Tom Crean. Afterwards, we will have a lovely cliff walk into the Dingle.

Exploring as much of the beautiful and unique Irish countryside will be one of our main goals throughout the trip.  To that end we will hike up **Mount Brandon** to take in **sublime views** of the Dingle Peninsula and Blasket Islands.

We will also head to **Slea Head**, taking one of **National Geographic’s top 10 drives in the world** to get there. We then stroll through fuchsia-lined roads past **megalithic relics** until we arrive at a vista with spectacular views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Dead Man’s Island.

The following day we will find ourselves in yet another landscape, as we hike through the **Gap of Dunloe**, surrounded by the **emerald green mountains**, which are the tallest in Ireland. We will also take a quick boat ride through the lakes of Killarney, before paying a visit to **Ross Castle** and hiking into the village of Killarney.

Next, travel over the river Shannon by ferry before arriving in **Burren National Park** and hiking to the **Cliffs of Moher**. From there we will have mesmerising views of rugged cliffs and the ocean below. Before we say goodbye, we will hike the **majestic karst limestone landscape** of the national park before heading off the **Galway** and bidding each other a fond farewell.

Join me for this exciting 8-day walking tour through the lush scenery of western Ireland!

We begin our adventure with a quick stop in the village of Foxford, which is chock-full of **traditional Irish arts and crafts.** Afterwards, we move on to the cliffs at Black Head, which have **spectacular views of the North Atlantic**, and then go off to explore **Céide Fields**, the most extensive Stone Age site in the world!

Our next stop is **Inishkea Island**, where we will spend the day taking in the lovely coastal scenery. Then we are off to **Ballcroy National Park**, where we will learn about the **history of the bog lands**, before crossing a bridge and spending the night on **Achill Island**.

We then pass by Clew Bay, which is home to 365 islands, en route to Westport. Here we will enjoy some **amazing pubs**, before hiking up to **Croagh Patrick**, where St Patrick spent 40 days and nights at the summit. We will have fabulous views from the top.

As we make our way south, we will head to the secluded and usually tourist-free **Doo Lough** to enjoy one of the **region’s hidden gems**, with spectacular views of the **lonely lakes and majestic mountains**. In the afternoon, we will take in some more history as we take the “famine” walk to the Killary Fjord.

Next we head to the Inagh Valley where we will tour the Kylemore Abbey, staying in Leeane for the night where we take in a bit of traditional music at one of the pubs.

From Leeane, we move on to the bohemian city of **Galway** for a quick tour before heading to the cliffs at **Black Head** and getting some great views of the coastline. Afterwards, we delve into the karst limestone landscape of **Burren National Park**, which some say looks like it could be located on the moon!

Finally, we will head to the **Cliffs of Moher** and hike along them. In October, the **40-foot Aileen’s Wave** occasionally crashes along these cliffs, which is a spectacular sight to behold. Then we will head back to Dublin with a few quick stops at **Bunratty castle** and **Blarney Woollen Mills** along the way. Once in Dublin we will say our goodbyes.

Join me for this captivating 9-day tour along the unspoiled northern Irish coastline as we explore both the landscape and culture of this storied island!

We begin our tour in the bohemian city of **Galway**, which has drawn poets, musicians and actors from all over the world. After our tour, we make our way to the idyllic village of Clifden, winding through the **Connemara lake district** along the way.

We will now head to the coastal walk and **Giant’s Causeway**, both of which have been made famous by “Game of Thrones”. We will spend the whole day exploring the **UNESCO World Heritage site** and some of the golden beaches surrounding it.

Finally, we head into **Belfast** for a city centre tour, where we will learn about war and peace in this city of Catholics and Protestants. Then off to **Dublin** where we will have a final **goodbye drink** before bidding you farewell.
