I have been surrounded by mountains all my life. My parents took me hiking even before I could walk. Later on, as a teenager, I started cycling at a very high level for almost 10 years. And then, in 2013, my passion for the mountains drove me to sign up to become a professional Mountain Guide.

In 2015 I got my Rock Climbing Instructor certificate and finally in 2017 I graduated as a UIMLA certified mountain leader. Every day I fulfil my childhood dream of living in and for the mountains.

### **Via ferrata is an excellent way to explore a beautiful mountainous area. And, on this full day trip, I would like to guide you on some great via ferratas in the Lusatian Mountains in the Czech Republic.**

This day long trip is a **beginner level course in via ferrata**. As a result, the trip is very easy and anybody can enjoy it. However, you should be in **good physical condition**.

Throughout the course, you will learn all about the necessary via ferrata equipment. You will also learn proper climbing techniques as well.

Our trip will start in **Jonsdorf** at **approximately 9:30 am**. From there, we will enjoy the **Nonnensteig secured route**, which at **350 meters of length**, will provide you with some amazing views of the **Lusatian Mountains**. We will then go to **Oybin**, where you can enjoy the **100 meter long** **Alpiner Grat via ferrata**. The course will end between **3:00 and 4:00 pm**.

### **For 3 incredible days, I would like to guide you on a via ferrata adventure in the Hohe Tauern National Park, in the Alps of Austria.**

Throughout this trip, you will get to enjoy some truly magnificent views, while also enjoying the thrills of some amazing via ferratas, including the **Detmolder Grat via ferrata**.

Our trip will begin in **Prague**. From there, we will venture to the **Giebener Mountain Hut (2,215m)**, where we will be spending our nights. Throughout the first day, you will get to bask in the beautiful terrain and scenery of the area.

On the second day of the trip, we will climb the **Winkelscharte Pass**. From there, we will make our way to the **Detmolder Grat via ferrata**, which will lead us to the **Hochalmspitze peak (3,360m)**. You will get to do some climbing on the peak, while soaking in the breathtaking views.

On the third and final day of the trip, we will make our way to the **Winterleitenkopf peak (2,518m)** before descending through the valley and making our way back to **Prague**.

This is a challenging expedition. As a result, you should have some experience traversing through similar mountainous terrain. You should also be in **good physical condition**.

The solid limestone cliffs of Alkazar rises from a former quarry in the Bohemian village of Srbsko in central Czech Republic.

It is home to one of the best and most scenic rock climbing spots in the whole country, and is just 20 miles away from the capital of Prague.

At the foot of the village the waters of the Berounka river wind through the rolling green hills.

This afternoon climbing course is geared towards beginners with no previous experience.

Consisting of three tiers, the quarry offers a collection of approximately 200 routes of various difficulty, ranging from 15 meters to 35 meters. So we can choose the ideal route for you.

The quarry is sectioned into four areas. The Right Amphitheatre, Left Amphitheatre, Small Matterhorn and finally Big Matterhorn.

Have you ever tried ski mountaineering? Well, this is your chance! Join me for **a unique alpine experience in the Giant Mountains**!

**The Giant Mountains, also known as the Krkonoše, are a group of peaks on the border of the Czech Republic and Poland**. Part of the Sudetes mountain range, the highest point of elevation in this range is the Sněžka peak (1,603m). The area has many ski resorts but is also a popular destination for winter adventures away from the crowds.

On this 3-day trip we will explore these impressive mountains and **learn the basics of ski mountaineering**: climbing and downhill techniques, usage of specific equipment, recognizing avalanche risks and moving safely in exposed slopes. In addition, we will s**ki on top-quality virgin snow surrounded by a breathtaking landscape**.

Keep in mind that intermediate level skiing and fitness levels are required for this trip. We usually spend  6 to 8 hours per day in the mountain, and hike up about 800m.

Join me on this **snowshoeing weekend** in Austria and enjoy a relaxing trip,  surrounded by the magical winter landscapes of the Rax Mountains, in the beautiful Northern Limestone Alps.

This trip is suitable for people with no previous snowshoeing experience. This a moderately demanding program that anyone with basic fitness level can easily do. **We usually spend about 6 hours a day outdoors and walk up to 600 meters.**  

I will guide you on simple snowshoe hikes through beautiful snow-covered landscapes and you will get a first introduction to avalanche issues and the basics of safe movements in winter terrain.

One of the longest cable cars in Austria will take us to the **Rax** **plateau,** located at an altitude of about 1,500 meters. Early on **Saturday morning,**  we board the cable car to the plateau with our backpacks. Our goal will be the **Höllentalaussicht** (1,620m), a lookout tower offering spectacular views.

We will walk on incredible snow, working on snowshoeing techniques. You will get a basic avalanche rescue training and we will talk about the basics of safe movement in avalanche prone terrain

The upper station of the cable car is also a **mountain guest house, Raxalm – Berggasthof** (1547m), where we qill quickly accommodate and refresh ourselves before setting out for an afternoon hike. A short briefing about avalanches will be held at the cottage in the evening .

On **Sunday** we will capitalize or newly acquired snowshoeing experience and set out for a day-long hike on the Rax plateau to the cross on top of the Preiner Wand (1783m). If we have time and strength left, we can overcome another 1,900 meters tall summit. In the afternoon (around 3:00 pm) we go back to the top station of the cable car, pick up things and go down to the valley.
