I was born in Barcelona, ​​Spain. I became Guide Trekking in Cordillera in 1996 and was promoted as IFMGA Mountain Guide in 2005.

I've spent the last 20 + years working as a High Mountain Guide in the Andes (Patagonia, Aconcagua, Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru), the Pyrenees and Alps.

I've devoted my last years to explore virgin mountain ranges as Cordillera de Carabaya, Cordillera Vilcanota, Cordillera de Yelcho, Quimza Cruz, Torres del Brujo, cordillera del Cerro Castillo, San Lorenzo, San Valentin and some others.

I am half of the year based at Chamonix and the other half in Aysen, around Villa Cerro Castillo, in Chile.

We can leave together for one or several days. Based on your level and wishes, I will select for you several routes that we will discuss and validate together before leaving.

If it’s your first time, I will teach you the basics and give you the necessary skills to let you fully enjoy this awesome outdoor activity. If you are more experienced, we will define together a nice objective to reach.

Here are some examples of climbing ascents classified by difficulty level:

*   F= Facile = Easy = **Aiguille du Toule, Bishorn, North West Face, Aiguille du Tour;**
    
*   PD= Peu difficile = A little difficult = **Gran Paradiso, Mont Blanc (Goûter Route), Mönch (South-East Ridge), Jungfrau (via Rottalsattel);**
    
*   AD= Assez difficile = Fairly difficult = **Eiger (South Ridge), La Dent du Géant, l’Aiguille Verte, (Whymper Couloir);**
    
*   D= Difficile = Difficult = **Tour Ronde (North Face), Eiger (Mittellegi Ridge), Aiguille du Chardonnet (North Buttress);**
    
*   TD = Très difficile = Very difficult = **Les Drus (Bonatti Pillar), Matterhorn (North Face), Les Droites (NE Spur);**
    
*   ED= Extrêmement difficile = Extremely difficult = **Les Droites (North Face), Eiger (North Face), Grandes Jorasses (Walker Spur).**
    

Generally the season for climbing in the Alps runs from about the beginning of June, through about end-September.

I’m usually based in **Chamonix** but the different ranges are very close so all the options are possible and accessible in maximum a few hours. This gives us the flexibility to go where the conditions are the best.

Many reasons make the Spanish Pyrenees a top choice for winter adventures. There are plenty of tiny and quiet valleys away from the crowds. The mountain huts are cozy and charming. People are friendly and the Spanish food is just delicious.

The itinerary will depend on how long you want the trip to last. We will meet up somewhere close to the Pyrenees (I could organize the logistics to pick you up at the airport in Barcelona if necessary), we will go out for a warm-up day not far from the base of the mountains, full-day skiing - back to the hotel or the mountain hut. If it's a multi-day trip, we can go from hut to hut. An example of this type of tour is the Aiguestortes National Park Tour “Carros de Foc”(4-6 days long).
