Santiago de Chile, Chile
ANGM
I am the kind of guy who doesn’t like to speak about himself. But thanks to the French education system, I should probably do it myself anyway since all of my friends also write in English with a strong accent :)
I was born in France, in Burgundy, surrounded by grapes and very far away from the glaciers and mountains that take up all of my time today. A childhood ruined by too much oxygen and boring flats pushed me to become a mechanical engineer specialized in truck suspension.
Thanks to the joys of French holidays’ system, I got to travel the world 10 weeks a year, going to the best places that nature can offer. With my backpack on, I visited the Himalaya, the Canadian Rockies and Signal de Botrange (Belgium’s highest summit) and little by little forged a not-so- healthy love for these piles of rocks and sand that people call mountains… I got some sunburns as well!
And then one day, a greater mind offered me to leave my job and my country and travel the world. At 30, I started by exploring the Andes.
I climbed summit after summit, and with a crowd of people impressed by my fabulous stamina, I told myself that there is surely a way to make a living out of this new playground. So I went to the US to follow the local mountain guide training, because why do it the simple way when you can learn how to do knots in a foreign language? Fully equipped, I came back to Chile, super motivated to save the world from the apathy of cities.
Now, with my years of experience, I offer you to join me and discover remote places of Chile. Leave the remote and the bag of chips and come join me!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
