To me, a great adventure is not only about exploring new mountains and places, but it's also about interacting with people that live there and learning about their culture, history and food.

As an UIMLA-certified Mountain Leader I have had the pleasure to guide clients on treks in Europe, Canada, Patagonia, Tajikistan, and beyond. I speak English, Italian, Slovak and understand a few related languages.

While meticulous trip preparation is very important, I also embrace a “freestyle” approach when the moment calls for it — some of the most unforgettable experiences come from intuitive, on-the-spot decisions rather than following a rigid plan.

Whether it’s laughing with friends, climbing or skiing high peaks, visiting ancient castles, or sharing a simple meal with locals, I find joy in every moment of exploration. Though I feel at home in many places, the Central Alps in northern Italy and High Tatras in Slovakia hold a special place in my heart.
