The **Giewont peak**, rising to 1894 m, is a symbol of **Zakopane**, the famous resort town in the south of **Poland**. In fact, its limestone cliff is visible from everywhere in the city.

There are chains all the way to the top. Indeed, we will use this protection in the slightly steep sections. Once we reach the summit of **Giewont**, you won't believe the views! But the trip is not over yet. We will continue to the **Strążyska Valley** and then to **Zakopane**.

Join me in this easy hike in the so-called **Western Tatras**, walking on limestone and dolomites.

We do the following itinerary. On the way from **Kościeliska Valley** there is a saddle: **Iwaniacka** (1459 m). Then a path leads us down to the next valley, **Chocholowska**. In Kościeliska we can visit the Krakow Gorge and Smocza Cave (optional), which has a ladder and chains at the entrance.

During this fun day trip, I guarantee you will live a great adventure!

In this occasion I will lead you to the **Szpiglasowy peak** (2172 m) in a demanding but highly rewarding hike. This peak is in the main ridge of the **High Tatras.**

To reach the peak we need to go through the **Five Tarns Valley**. In fact, it's the most impressive valley in the **Polish** side of the **Tatras**. There are some chains on the way to the top, which will be helpful to cross steep sections. The way there might take some work, but the views from the top are breathtaking!

The paths leads us to the **Morskie Oko lake**. It's the most famous lake in the Tatras. In addition, there is a mountain hut where you can buy the most delicious apple pie.
