The Ski World Tour is a series of events in which the best skiers and riders from around the world compete both for individual wins and the World Champion title.

However, we will spend a great day skiing on some of the excellent pistes available to us in Hakuba. Located at the very northern edge of the Japanese Alps, near the Chūbu-Sangaku National Park, this region is well known for its extremely snowy winters and pristine natural beauty.

In between runs, we’ll have time to chat and take in the extraordinary beauty of this tiny skiing village. As we go from run to run, I’ll even give you a few pointers along the way, although the main point of our trip is to spend as much time out on the slopes as a day or more will allow!

Please remember that you need to be at least an intermediate skier to participate in this tour. Take into account that you will need to be able to assess for yourself what you can or cannot do. It will be your responsibility to ski at your own level.

However, we will take advantage of the plentiful and pristine snow together in one of Niseko’s many resorts. Located on the western portion of Hokkaido, Niseko is world renowned for how much powder it receives, occasionally setting world records.

The island is easily accessible from Tokyo via a local flight and I promise you the effort to get here is well worth it. We are sure to become pretty well acquainted as we explore the area together and get in a ton of runs. I’ve been skiing here for quite awhile, so I’ll be sure to show you some of the area’s best pistes.
