Climbing has been my passion for the last 40 years but I only started guiding 16 years ago, after getting IFMGA-certified. I own a ski school and a rental shop in Kubinska Hora in the West Tatras (Slovakia) and also work in the mountain rescue services.

I used to be an acrobatic skier and the Technical Director at the Slovak Mountain Guide Association (in charge of training). As a guide, I'll take you to explore all the hidden corners of the Tatras, whether on skis or on foot. Ice climbing, rock climbing or ski touring, it'll be your choice!

**Lying on the border between Slovakia and Poland, the High Tatras are the smallest alpine mountain range in Europe. Join me on a 1-day alpine climbing trip in this fantastic destination!** 

This is a trip for those who have some previous experience in the mountains. **It’s important to have rock climbing skills as well as knowing belay techniques.**

There are different mountain routes to explore according to your skills. For an intermediate level, we can tackle routes classified as **III-IV grade** in the UIAA grading system. In that case, I can take up to 2 clients.

If you are looking for some extra challenges, I can take you to **V-VI routes** (UIAA).  We’ll be **climbing up to 800 meters.** This option only allows one client per guide.

Both options include all the climbing gear you need.

This is a great opportunity to hone your alpine climbing skills while you enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Tatras!

1-day alpine climbing trip in the High Tatras

**Surrounded by mountains, Slovakia has many exciting rock climbing venues. It’s also a great place for an introductory course, boasting climbing routes for all levels.**

This time, I propose to take you on a **3-day rock climbing course** in the Slovak mountains. The course is oriented to beginners: I’ll provide all the necessary equipment and teach you the basics.

The first two days we’ll be based in **Mala Fatra (Low Fatra),** a group of mountains in the north of Slovakia. The crags are only 5 minutes from the parking place.

The last day we’ll head to the **Tatras,** a wild and higher mountain range lying on the border with Poland. Here you’ll find multi-pitch climbing routes to suit all levels and walls up to 900 meters.

This course is a great opportunity for first-timers willing to learn basic skills to move safely on a rocky wall. If you don’t have 3 days, I can offer a condensed version of the course in just 1-day.
