Situated just north of Squamish, the Tantalus Range is the perfect place for a hut-based ski mountaineering adventure!

The trip starts with a quick helicopter flight from a pre-determined location in Squamish out to the Jim Haberl Hut, on the edge of the Tantalus Provincial Park.

Once we’ve arrived, the fun begins. Over the course of our four days together, we will head out on various ski mountaineering expeditions, exploring parts of the British Columbian backcountry that you would not be able to get to on skis alone.

In order to take full advantage of all the excellent ski touring that awaits here, it is best to be an intermediate level backcountry skier with previous mountaineering experience.

Among the various peaks that we might climb and explore are Alpha Mountain, Serratus Mountain, Red Tusk, Lydia Mountain and Mt Tanatalus. Each of these peaks will provide stunning views out over the backcountry as well as plenty of out-of-this-world skiing opportunities.

### **There are a lot of fantastic skiing options throughout the country of Japan. And, on this week long adventure, I would like to guide you to one of the best, most popular spots: Hakuba.**

Filled with gorgeous terrain that is definitely worth exploring, especially on skis, **Hakuba** is a great place to visit and enjoy. Considered to have some of the best snow conditions on Earth, this area is as fun as it is beautiful. Moreover, because you will be surrounded by the **Japan Alps**, the views you will get to enjoy are incredible.

This trip will take place predominately on ski resort routes. However, you can rest assured those routes are filled with wilderness and amazing opportunities to explore the **Hakuba** area. On the first day of the trip, we will also **review avalanche skills**.

Participants on this trip **should have basic back country skiing skills**, and be **able to ski at an intermediate to advanced level**. You should also be in **good physical condition**.

### **Initially, you wouldn’t associate great ski touring with Africa. However, you will be surprised to know there are some great skiing opportunities in the gorgeous continent. That is why I am happy to offer this 10 day ski touring adventure in Morocco, in the High Atlas Mountains.**

Head into the mountain wilderness of British Columbia and experience a thrilling week of skiing on the Manatee Glacier along the Coast Range.

The mountain range stretches across the west coast of North America, from the US and into Canada, before ending in Alaska. It presents a wild, remote and breathtaking terrain for skiing.

We’ll reach the Manatee Glacier in style by hitching a ride in a helicopter. It is located in the Coast Range of British Columbia.

Our base for the trip will be well-stocked of food and drink, as well as offering multiple spaces for socialising and sleeping.

For potential participants, it is necessary that you are an advanced to expert skier who is comfortable in the backcountry. In addition, you are required to have good fitness to get the most out of your trip.
