Mountain Leader
Val d'Isère
SNGM
I am from the Vosges, and coming from a family of skiers I have enjoyed alpine ski from a young age. After some years of competitions, I abandoned the "pickets" to become ski instructor. Entering the ranks of the Gendarmerie allowed me a late discovery of the large spaces and alpinism. It was a revelation: climbing, then high alpine summits. At 28, I was part of the PGHM Gendarmerie units. Then I trained for almost 5 years at ENSA and I became mountain guide.
After more than 800 rescue operations at my active: PGHM Chamonix, Briançon, St Gervais, l'Île de la Réunion… In 2013 I decided to stop with mountain rescue and I offered my experience and know-how to a team of guides in Val d'Isère. I am dynamic and eager to share my passion with you, respecting the mountain, your wishes and in all safety!
