Description

Famous for so much, and visited by so many, it is incredible to know the Kansai area of Japan is also home to some fantastic snowboarding opportunities as well. And on this full day group trip, you can enjoy those opportunities with a freeride world qualifier snowboarder.

During this trip, we will be visiting the Hyperbowl Tohachi ski resort. While small, and only having 4 lifts, the resort is nonetheless home to some exciting runs. And because of its smaller size, it is not overcrowded. Thus giving you a chance to enjoy the nearly 9 km of slopes it has much more freely than you would at other, busier resorts.

Furthermore, on this full day group trip, you will get to enjoy those slopes with a FWQ snowboarder. Thus giving you the chance to learn from a professional by watching and snowboarding with somebody who has a lot of experience. I will also happily provide you with as much insight about snowboarding as I possibly can, in hopes it will help you improve your own skills.

Along with bringing plenty of enthusiasm, the only other responsibility you have for this trip is to be able to snowboard at an intermediate level. This will ensure you are able to keep up with the pace of the day.

The Kansai area of Japan is a gorgeous, exciting place. And this full day snowboarding trip can be a great addition to a trip you may be taking there. If that sounds enticing to you, just send a request.

Please note that you will need to sign a liability waiver prior to the beginning of the trip. Also, for safety and liability reasons, we will stay within ski resort boundaries at all times.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
