Description

Are you looking for a thrilling winter adventure? Then join me for an ice climbing experience in the Brenta Dolomites, in northeastern Italy!

The Brenta Dolomites are a group of peaks located north of Lake Garda, in the Italian province of Trentino. Also known as the Brenta Group, this mountain chain is protected by the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park and includes eight over-3000m peaks.

During the winter, this area offers some amazing waterfalls to practice ice climbing! This is your chance to join me for one or several days and discover it for yourself.

A typical day starts with a short briefing about equipment and techniques. After a short hike we will reach an amazing frozen area. If you are a first-timer, you will learn the basics, and if you are not, you will surely improve your skills!

For this tour you don’t need special ice climbing abilities, but you should have a good fitness level (we will walk two hours per day).

So, if you want to explore the frozen waterfalls of the Brenta Dolomites, please contact me. Let’s enjoy a unique ice climbing adventure in Italy!

I also offer a snowshoeing outing in this same area. Check it out here.

Mountain Guide

I'm deeply in love with the mountain and its free spaces, it's rock and it's peopleand its silence. I live in the Rendena Valley, between the granite's mountain of Adamello Presanella, and the awesome Brenta Dolomites.

Giorgio was a great guide, who knew how to go at our pace and was flexible about changing the itinerary based on the conditions. Really friendly and relaxed but very professional

We very much appreciated Giorgio’s professionalism and knowledge of the Adamello area. Giorgio was very thorough with his directions and making sure we were all safe. I had a 17 and 23 year old with me and he gave me a lot of confidence with his skills without being patronizing. We all had a great day ski-touring and the descent of Pisgana glacier was really exciting. Happy to recommend him for or offer other intel.

Giorgio gave us an incredible mountain experience, one that we will never forget. Thanks Giorgio! As a guide is incredibly professional, informative and very caring. It's also very warm and friendly and it's a pleasure to be around with him.
