Whether you’ve never ice climbed in your life or done it 100 times before, Camden, Maine, is a great place to learn this challenging but rewarding winter sport!
Join me for an excellent 1+ day of ice climbing in and around this lovely coastal hamlet. Located right on Maine’s eastern seaboard, less than two hours away from Acadia National Park, Camden is the ideal starting point for any ice climbing trip.
From here, we can go to a number of great spots, including Camden Hills State Park, Acadia National Park or Grafton Notch!
Once we’ve decided on our location, it’s time to get out on the ice. If you are a beginner, we can teach you how to use all the equipment and get you well on your way to completing your first water ice top rope adventure!
Already know all the basics and looking for a challenge? Not to worry, we’ve got plenty in store for you as well. With some more tricky terrain around Camden, we can easily find a steeper and more challenging multi-pitch climb for you to test your skills on!
