Description

Located about 250km west of Calgary are The Bugaboos, a stunning alpine mountain range that are protected by the Bugaboos National Park. Set in the Purcell Mountains of eastern British Colombia, the landscape is populated with iconic granite spires that have become some of the most favoured climbing spots in North America.

Climbing in the ‘Bugs’ provides a wonderful array of different options and difficulties. You can find routes characterised as easy scrambles up to multi-day test pieces to really challenge your skills!

Along with the granite spires, this landscape includes beautiful cascading glacier icefalls and dense alpine forests creating a truly breathtaking setting to enjoy your climbing.

I run classes for up to 6 people, so with this low ratio I can create a tight group atmosphere and also closely observe each climber throughout the trip.

I am flexible with my trip’s duration so contact me and we can arrange something to meet your needs, whether for a quick day trip or week long adventure. One thing is for sure, The Bugaboos have enough pristine alpine landscape to keep you entertained for as long as you require!

Don’t hesitate to sign up to this fantastic alpine climbing excursion, I can’t wait to share this wonderful opportunity with you!

If your’re not yet an experienced climber but have the desire to learn then join me on this 1-day introduction to climbing in Squamish, BC and I will ignite your passion.

Our guide was Tim Ross not Brian Jones. Day was great and Tim was very personal and taught us a lot about backcountry skiing. He tailored the day to our abilities and was very patient. Great experience.

We actually had a different guide (Les) but couldnt have been more impressed. He was super knowledgeable and helpful. Very patient and his timing for our day was excellent. Whistler is of course beautiful and it was a wonderful introduction to the back country.
