My name is Sayaka and I am ranked 3rd in Japan and 44th in the world. I invite you to ride together for 1 or more days on the amazing powder of Hakuba in the Northern Japan Alps.

Hakuba boasts the best deep dry powder in the world. It is a unique skiing and snowboarding area with a great diversity of courses/pistes and natural terrain types. There are endless ways to enjoy this place, from sliding on mellow and steep slopes to jumping and hopping off or carving into unique bumps.

Please note this program is suitable for people of intermediate levels and above, who are able to ride with connected turns and can safely descend pistes on their own.

This area receives an average of 11 meters of snow each season, making it one of Japan’s top winter resort areas. Located about 250km northwest of Tokyo, the Hakuba resorts are easily accesible from Tokyo and from other major cities.

For 1 or several days, I will take you to some of my favorite runs and spots I know like the back of my hand. We will spend a great time together, riding on the amazing Hakuba powder. You can see what lines I pick and improve your riding skills.

Please bear in mind that I am not an instructor or guide, so we will always stay within ski area boundaries for safety reasons and I will not be giving you lessons, our focus will just be to have fun and enjoy the rides together on this amazing place. Of course, I will be happy to share some advice and tips on riding with you whenever possible.

I'm a Hakuba based snowboarder. I love all snowboarding disciplines, including half-pipe, slopestyle and riding in the backcountry. Throughout my career as a snowboarder, I have competed in many international competitions as well.

Currently, I'm interested in discovering and exploring the fun of snowboarding without the boundaries set by specific disciplines - in its free form. I'm interested in communicating to people the richness and preciousness of the nature in which we practise the sport we love.

I specialise is communicating and showing people how to enjoy the ski areas' natural terrain and pistes in a freestyle way. Let's have fun together!

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
